M\u00eame si Jeffrey Herlings a remport\u00e9 ce lundi – pour la septi\u00e8me fois cons\u00e9cutivement ! – le GP d\u2019Europe \u00e0 Valkenswaard mais s\u2019il a remport\u00e9 toutes les manches des trois GP courus jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, le pilote n\u00e9erlandais, \u00e2g\u00e9 aujourd\u2019hui de vingt-et-un ans, \u00e9vite de tirer des plans sur la com\u00e8te.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Herlings a remport\u00e9 le premier de ses cinquante GP \u00e0 Valkenswaard en 2010 \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e2ge de quinze ans alors qu\u2019il participait \u00e0 son troisi\u00e8me GP et, \u00e9videmment, ce week-end, la presse internationale n\u2019a pas manqu\u00e9 de demander au pilote n\u00e9erlandais s\u2019il pensait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e0 une troisi\u00e8me couronne mondiale apr\u00e8s celles remport\u00e9es en 2012 et 2013.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Un troisi\u00e8me titre mondial serait fantastique mais ce serait d\u00e9j\u00e0 bien de pouvoir aller jusqu\u2019au bout de la saison, ce que je n\u2019ai pas fait lors des deux derni\u00e8res saisons,\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Herlings qui \u00e9tait moins prudent dans ses d\u00e9clarations par le pass\u00e9. \u00ab\u00a0L\u2019exp\u00e9rience m\u2019a appris beaucoup. Et notamment que terminer un championnat est d\u00e9j\u00e0 un bon r\u00e9sultat en soi. Tout cela reste encore loin, cinq-six mois, et c\u2019est quelque chose qui me fait r\u00eaver surtout si le titre est au bout du chemin mais est-ce bien r\u00e9aliste? Je ne sais pas.\u00bb<\/p>\n

En 2014, Jeffrey Herlings avait roul\u00e9 bless\u00e9 contre l’avis de Stefan Everts<\/p><\/div>\n

Lors des deux derni\u00e8res saisons, on se souviendra que Herlings avait \u00e0 chaque fois un avantage de plus de 140 points sur ses poursuivants au classement provisoire mais de graves blessures (f\u00e9mur fractur\u00e9 et hanche d\u00e9bo\u00eet\u00e9e) l\u2019ont \u00e0 chaque fois aussi emp\u00each\u00e9 de ceindre la couronne de champion. Enfin, il est plus que probable que si Herlings devait remporter un troisi\u00e8me titre en dominant sa cat\u00e9gorie comme il le fait jusqu\u2019\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, il roulerait l\u2019an prochain en MXGP d\u2019autant que le champion du monde MX2 de l\u2019an dernier, Tim Gajser, se comporte d\u00e9j\u00e0 remarquablement dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine. Pour conclure, il est bon de signaler que le contrat actuel de Herlings chez KTM prend fin au terrme de cette saison.<\/p>\n
