L’annonce de la blessure de Jeffrey Herlings le week-end pass\u00e9 dans la finale du championnat de Hollande de motocross \u00e0 Halle a fait grand bruit, essentiellement parce qu’elle remettait \u00e0 l’avant-plan l’incroyable malchance qu’accumule le leader du championnat du monde MX2 depuis 2014. L’officiel KTM a cependant d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 op\u00e9r\u00e9 afin de placer une nouvelle plaque sur la clavicule fractur\u00e9e et d\u00e9cidera dans les prochains jours s’il prendra ou non part au 13\u00e8me round du championnat \u00e0 Loket les 23 et 24 juillet.<\/strong><\/p>\n

La chute \u00e0 Halle n’\u00e9tait qu’une petite chute mais elle a suffi \u00e0 refracturer une clavicule fragilis\u00e9e car d\u00e9j\u00e0 op\u00e9r\u00e9e l’an pass\u00e9 apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 fractur\u00e9e une premi\u00e8re fois au GP de Teutschenthal. Herlings \u00e9tait alors revenu derri\u00e8re la grille de d\u00e9part \u00e0 peine deux semaines plus tard.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0C’\u00e9tait une chute un peu \u00e9trange, pas \u00e0 tr\u00e8s haute vitesse\u00a0\u00bb, nous explique Herlings. \u00ab\u00a0D\u00e8s que je me suis relev\u00e9, j’ai compris que je m’\u00e9tais fractur\u00e9 la clavicule et on m’a expliqu\u00e9 que c’\u00e9tait \u00e0 cause de la fracture de l’an pass\u00e9. La plaque avait \u00e9t\u00e9 enlev\u00e9e en fin d’ann\u00e9e afin de me permettre de r\u00e9\u00e9duquer correctement mon \u00e9paule et cela l’avait fragilis\u00e9.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Toujours invaincu en GP cette saison, a \u00e9t\u00e9 imm\u00e9diatement op\u00e9r\u00e9 et doit donc \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent penser au GP de Loket le week-end prochain. \u00ab\u00a0Je vois les m\u00e9decins cette semaine\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit-il. \u00ab\u00a0Apr\u00e8s cela, nous prendrons une d\u00e9cision. Je devrais pouvoir rouler un jour ou deux, on verra bien ! J’ai connu plus de mauvais que de bons moments \u00e0 Loket. J’ai presque 170 points d’avance au championnat, ce qui signifie que je peux manquer presque 4 courses alors qu’il n’en reste plus que six. Je ne veux donc pas me pr\u00e9cipiter et revenir trop t\u00f4t. Lommel suit d\u00e8s le week-end suivant et me laisse donc une semaine de plus pour rouler.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Le double champion du monde MX2 ne semble pas particuli\u00e8rement affect\u00e9 par cette nouvelle blessure qu’il ne consid\u00e8re pas comme un obstacle majeur dans sa course pour un troisi\u00e8me titre. \u00ab\u00a0L’an pass\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb, reconna\u00eet-il, \u00ab\u00a0j’ai fait de stupides erreurs en voulant rouler trop fort et cela n’arrivera plus ! J’ai d\u00e9j\u00e0 eu la m\u00eame blessure, je sais donc \u00e0 quoi m’attendre. En principe, une clavicule se r\u00e9pare rapidement et je ne suis donc pas inquiet. Il ne s’agit pas d’un f\u00e9mur fractur\u00e9 qui signifie la fin de ta saison…\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Vainqueur de 23 des 24 manches disput\u00e9es jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent cette saison sur le championnat MX2, Herlings esp\u00e8re pouvoir cl\u00f4turer le chap\u00eetre \u00ab\u00a0MX2\u00a0\u00bb de sa carri\u00e8re par un ultime succ\u00e8s en coiffant une 3\u00e8me couronne mondiale et en poursuivant sur sa lanc\u00e9e sur les GP europ\u00e9ens qui arrivent apr\u00e8s Loket, en Belgique, en Suisse et en Hollande. Avant de rejoindre la cat\u00e9gorie MXGP dans laquelle il est tr\u00e8s attendu…<\/p>\n
