En arrivant avec 15 points de retard sur Mike Kras \u00e0 Lommel, Yentel Martens savait que les chances de coiffer la couronne europ\u00e9enne ce dimanche \u00e9tait maigres. M\u00eame si tout \u00e9tait \u00e9videmment encore possible et que notre compatriote avait l’avantage d’\u00e9voluer v\u00e9ritablement dans son jardin. Sur un circuit qu’il conna\u00eet comme sa poche, le pilote Husqvarna ne s’est d’ailleurs pas fait prier pour signer un utlime doubl\u00e9 en remportant facilement les deux manches.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mais cela n’a pas suffi \u00e0 contrer le Hollandais Mike Kras. Le pilote KTM a su \u00e9viter les pi\u00e8ges de ce dernier round du championnat en g\u00e9rant au mieux son avantage. Troisi\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche le samedi, il terminait deuxi\u00e8me ce dimanche pour s’offrir le titre europ\u00e9en avec 7 points de plus au classement final du championnat que Yentel Martens.<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re l’intouchable Martens, le meilleur Belge \u00e0 Lommel a \u00e9t\u00e9 Dietger Damiaens. Notre compatriote confirme ainsi le retour au premier plan entrevu la semaine pass\u00e9e \u00e0 Loket. Cinqui\u00e8me le samedi, il fait mieux encore ce dimanche en terminant 4\u00e8me et termine le week-end au pied du podium. Surtout, il se hisse dans le top-5 du classement final du championnat ! Mathias Plessers termine quant \u00e0 lui le week-end en 7\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n

Notons que Lewis Gregory n’\u00e9tait pas \u00e0 Lommel et que son co\u00e9quipier Brad Anderson, 3\u00e8me du championnat, s’est content\u00e9 d’une 7\u00e8me et d’une 6\u00e8me places \u00e0 Lommel, laissant les sp\u00e9cialistes du sable jouer les premiers r\u00f4les.<\/p>\n
