Cette fois, \u00e7a y est : Jago Geerts est champion d’Europe 125cc ! Pratiquement assur\u00e9 du titre hier apr\u00e8s que son dernier rival dans la course au titre Pierre Goupillon ait abandonn\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re manche, notre jeune compatriote s’est d\u00e9finitivement assur\u00e9 du titre europ\u00e9en ce dimanche en dominant \u00e0 nouveau la seconde manche dans le sable de Lommel.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un doubl\u00e9 autoritaire devant le Finlandais Kim Savaste et le Danois Mikkel Haarup qui offre donc \u00e0 Jago de coiffer la couronne europ\u00e9enne \u00e0 domicile, avant-m\u00eame la finale du championnat le week-end prochain en Suisse. Une fin de championnat h\u00e9las marqu\u00e9e par le forfait de son principal rival dans la course au titre, le Fran\u00e7ais Stephen Rubini. La fin de saison s’annon\u00e7ait disput\u00e9e entre les deux hommes mais la blessure du pilote KTM Silver Action il y a deux semaines permettait \u00e0 Geerts d’aborder sereinement le GP de Lommel.<\/p>\n

Un GP men\u00e9 avec brio et au terme duquel il s’offre un deuxi\u00e8me titre europ\u00e9en apr\u00e8s celui remport\u00e9 en 2014 dans la cat\u00e9gorie 85cc !<\/p>\n

Autre motif de satisfaction dans le clan belge: le tr\u00e8s beau week-end de Remi Fraikin. Dans le sable limbourgeois, le Li\u00e9geois s’est non seulement qualifi\u00e9 mais a fait preuve d’une belle pointe de vitesse dans les manches. Trenti\u00e8me samedi, il passait tout pr\u00e8s des points ce dimanche en prenant une tr\u00e8s belle 21\u00e8me place !<\/p>\n

L’ultime round du championnat EMX 125, ce sera le week-end prochain \u00e0 l’occasion du GP de Suisse…<\/p>\n
