Kevin Strijbos a remport\u00e9 ce dimanche le 14\u00e8me round du championnat MXGP. Dans le sable limbourgeois, l’officiel Suzuki a devanc\u00e9 l’Allemand Max Nagl et l’Italien Antonio Cairoli. Cinqui\u00e8me seulement, le leader du classement provisoire Tim Gajser descend pour la premi\u00e8re fois de la saison du podium.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Stefan Everts voulait faire de ce premier \u00ab\u00a0Home GP\u00a0\u00bb pour le team Suzuki dont il a pris la t\u00eate cet hiver un \u00e9v\u00e9nement sp\u00e9cial. L’\u00e9quipe du d\u00e9cuple champion du monde arborait d’ailleurs fi\u00e8rement ce week-end \u00e0 Lommel des machines dont le look s’inspirait de celui de la machine sur laquelle Everts avait remport\u00e9 son premier titre mondial en 125cc au d\u00e9but des ann\u00e9es 90. Stefan voulait \u00ab\u00a0marquer le coup\u00a0\u00bb. Il ne pouvait sans doute d\u00e8s lors r\u00eaver meilleur sc\u00e9nario que celui qui s’est jou\u00e9 cet apr\u00e8s-midi.<\/p>\n

Deux fois troisi\u00e8me, Kevin Strijbos a jou\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s la carte de la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 !<\/p><\/div>\n

Une premi\u00e8re manche difficile marqu\u00e9e par un mauvais d\u00e9part et une chute peu apr\u00e8s la mi-course pour Tim Gasjer et un Max Nagl qui partait lui aussi \u00e0 la faute alors qu’il venait de s’emparer de la 3\u00e8me place dans la seconde manche ont emp\u00each\u00e9 le Slov\u00e8ne et l’Allemand, qui se sont partag\u00e9 les victoires de manche, de pr\u00e9tendre \u00e0 la plus haute marche du podium. Shaun Simpson, excellent second de la premi\u00e8re manche, ne faisait pas mieux que 12\u00e8me dena la seconde. Quant \u00e0 Cairoli, le sable de Lommel qui lui a si souvent souri ne le portait cette fois qu’en 6\u00e8me position en premi\u00e8re manche et un sursaut d’orgueil avec une tr\u00e8s belle seconde place derri\u00e8re Gajser dans la seconde ne permettait pas \u00e0 l’Italien d’acc\u00e9der autre chose que le 3\u00e8me marche du podium derri\u00e8re Max Nagl. Cl\u00e9ment Desalle n’a pas non plus \u00e9t\u00e9 en mesure de faire preuve de la constance n\u00e9cessaire. Tr\u00e8s bon quatri\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche devant Romain F\u00e8bvre, l’officiel Kawasaki occupait \u00e0 nouveau cette position dans la seconde manche avant de r\u00e9trograder jusqu’en 10\u00e8me position.<\/p>\n

Premi\u00e8re victoire belge cette saison<\/h5>\n

L’inconstance et les erreurs des t\u00e9nors ont fait le jeux de Kevin Strijbos. Troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 deux reprises, le pilote de Wuustwezel joue avec succ\u00e8s la carte de la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 et remporte son GP national. Il offre par la m\u00eame occasion – et \u00e0 la maison ! – son premi\u00e8re succ\u00e8s dans la cat\u00e9gorie en tant que team manager chez Suzuki \u00e0 Stefan Everts. Sans oublier que cette victoire est la premi\u00e8re d’un pilote belge en championnat MXGP cette saison ! Bref, carton plein pour Kevin Strijbos qu’on n’attendait pas vraiment en pareille position quand on sait que l’officiel Suzuki venait de faire son retour \u00e0 la comp\u00e9tition le week-end pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent \u00e0 Loket !<\/p>\n

Au championnat, pas de panique pour Tim Gajser qui conserve la bagatelle de 103 points d’avance sur Antonio Cairoli alors que seuls 4 GP restent \u00e0 disputer. Le prochain, ce sera en Suisse les 6 et 7 ao\u00fbt…<\/p>\n
