Un coup d\u2019\u00e9clat \u00e0 la suite duquel l\u2019ancien champion du monde MX2 s\u2019\u00e9tait vu proposer par Stefan Everts le guidon d\u2019une des deux Suzuki officielles cette saison dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine du motocross mondial.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mais le come-back du N\u00e9o-Z\u00e9landais est \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent termin\u00e9. Bless\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u2019entra\u00eenement au d\u00e9but du mois de juillet, Townley a d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de se retirer d\u00e9finitivement de la sc\u00e8ne internationale.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Quand je me suis retir\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re fois, j\u2019ai continu\u00e9 \u00e0 rouler en Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande et j\u2019ai alors retrouv\u00e9 le d\u00e9sir de rouler au plus haut niveau, de redevenir professionnel. J\u2019ai beaucoup travaill\u00e9 pour cela et on a vu le r\u00e9sultat \u00e0 Ern\u00e9e l\u2019an pass\u00e9. J\u2019ai ensuite eu l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 de rouler dans le team Suzuki et c\u2019est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce que je voulais. J\u2019ai saisi l\u2019opportunit\u00e9 des deux mains.
