Les amateurs de nouveaut\u00e9s sensationnelles seront d\u00e9\u00e7us&#8230; Mais qu&rsquo;est-ce qui distingue alors ces nouvelles KTM des mod\u00e8les 2009? Et le pilote allemand a raison. C&rsquo;est pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment ce que les ing\u00e9nieurs autrichiens ont fait cet \u00e9t\u00e9 pour nous pr\u00e9senter &agrave; la rentr\u00e9e une gamme cross 2010 qui, si elle n&rsquo;a rien de r\u00e9volutionnaire, arrive avec pas mal de petites \u00e9volutions qui lui permettent de rester au top.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un \u00e9quipement de premier choix<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Avant de passer en revue les modifications effectu\u00e9es sur le nouveau mill\u00e9sime, rappelons qu&rsquo;une KTM cross, c&rsquo;est une machine \u00e9quip\u00e9e comme aucune autre dans sa cat\u00e9gorie. On trouve en effet sur toutes les SX et SX-F un guidon Renthal sans barrre de renfort, un embrayage hydraulique, des jantes Excel anodis\u00e9es noires, des \u00e9triers de freins Brembo, des suspensions en provenance de chez White Power, des t\u00e9s de fourche taill\u00e9s dans la masse anodis\u00e9s noirs, un kit d\u00e9co \u00ab\u00a0Inmould\u00a0\u00bb int\u00e9gr\u00e9 dans le plastique, des disques de frein \u00ab\u00a0p\u00e9tales\u00a0\u00bb, une bo\u00eete &agrave; air accessible sans outil ou m\u00eame un d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique sur la 450. Bref, du beau mat\u00e9riel que l&rsquo;on pourrait croire sorti tout droit du paddock MXGP&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Pour 2010, la recette reste identique mais les ing\u00e9nieurs ont pris le soin de changer quelques ingr\u00e9dients afin de rendre leurs machines plus performantes encore. Sur les 125 et 150 SX, c&rsquo;est le ch\u00e0\u00a2ssis qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 revu, avec une colonne de direction abaiss\u00e9e afin d&rsquo;offrir un meilleur feeling de la roue avant. Sur la 450, le poste de pilotage a lui aussi \u00e9t\u00e9 abaiss\u00e9 de 10mm dans le m\u00eame but, tandis que le bloc moteur du gros 4-temps h\u00e9rite d\u00e9sormais d&rsquo;une 5\u00e8me vitesse afin de faciliter la s\u00e9lection des rapports. Toujours sur la 450, on note une nouvelle aiguille pour le carburateur (meilleur reprise &agrave; bas-r\u00e9gime), un piston renforc\u00e9 et un embrayage redessin\u00e9 pour davantage de data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 150px) 100vw, 150px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Un t\u00e9 de fourche moins rigide<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Sur l&rsquo;ensemble de la gamme, outre des settings de suspensions revus afin d&rsquo;offrir plus de confort sur les petits trous, KTM nous offre une nouvelle bo\u00eete &agrave; air plus \u00e9tanche, un bouchon de radiateur d\u00e9sormais tar\u00e9 &agrave; 1.8 (1.4 sur le mod\u00e8le 2009) et des freins Brembo derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration. Mais l&rsquo;\u00e9volution la plus marquante vient sans doute du nouveau t\u00e9 de fourche. Par rapport &agrave; l&rsquo;ancien mod\u00e8le, celui-ci pr\u00e9sente toute une s\u00e9rie de trous additionnels qui le rendent moins rigide. Une certaine flexibilit\u00e9 qui permet au t\u00e9 de suivre les mouvements des tubes de fourche lors des r\u00e9ceptions brutales ou lors de gros freinages. L&rsquo;off-set est d\u00e9sormais fix\u00e9 &agrave; 22mm et n&rsquo;est donc plus variable (18-20mm) comme c&rsquo;\u00e9tait le cas en 2009.<\/p>\n<p>D&rsquo;un point de vue esth\u00e9tique, les KTM gardent une ligne g\u00e9n\u00e9rale identique mais voient revenir davantage d&rsquo;orange sur leur kit d\u00e9co, tandis que l&rsquo;\u00e9chappement redevient chrom\u00e9 sur les 4-temps.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-5076\" title=\"Moins \u00e9litiste que par le pass\u00e9, la KTM 250 SX-F est difficile &agrave; prendre en d\u00e9faut... \" src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/action_250sxf_2.jpg\" data-orig-src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/action_250sxf_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27400%27%20height%3D%27600%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20400%20600%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27400%27%20height%3D%27600%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/action_250sxf_2-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/09\/action_250sxf_2.jpg 400w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Sur la superbe piste italienne de Citta di Castello, les KTM 2010 trouvent un terrain de jeu &agrave; leur mesure. Un circuit digne d&rsquo;une piste de GP, avec de grandes mont\u00e9es, des gros sauts mais aussi des passages plus techniques avec de petites boucles en d\u00e9vers o\u00f9 l&rsquo;adh\u00e9rence est souvent plus que pr\u00e9caire. De quoi se faire une bonne id\u00e9e de ce que vaut le nouveau mill\u00e9sime autrichien.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Parfaite, la nouvelle 250 SX-F?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Apr\u00e8s plusieurs heures pass\u00e9es au guidon de l&rsquo;ensemble de la gamme, il appara\u00eet bien vite, pour moi comme pour bon nombre d&rsquo;autres essayeurs pr\u00e9sents sur l&rsquo;essai, qu&rsquo;une machine sort du lot. Il s&rsquo;agit de la 250 SX-F. Si l&rsquo;on retrouve le bloc moteur hyper performant qu&rsquo;on lui conna\u00eet depuis sa sortie, le mod\u00e8le 2010 \u00e9tonne par la facilit\u00e9 de sa partie-cycle. Non pas que le mod\u00e8le pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent n&rsquo;\u00e9tait pas maniable, bien au contraire, mais on restait toujours un peu sur notre faim en mati\u00e8re de confort, ce qui avait tendance &agrave; rendre la machine l\u00e9g\u00e8rement \u00e9litiste. Les suspensions WP assouplies en d\u00e9but de course et le nouveau t\u00e9 de fourche moins rigide semblent avoir gomm\u00e9 ce d\u00e9faut et font d\u00e9sormais de la SX-F 250 une machine non seulement redoutablement performante mais aussi, et c&rsquo;est nouveau, particuli\u00e8rement agr\u00e9able et facile &agrave; piloter.<br \/>\nOn a beau aligner les tours &agrave; son guidon pour tenter de trouver l&rsquo;une ou l&rsquo;autre chose &agrave; lui reprocher, la petite KTM est difficile &agrave; prendre en d\u00e9faut. Un poil plus exigeante que sa petite soeur, les nouveaux settings de suspensions et sa bo\u00eete 5 vitesses la rendent n\u00e9anmoins plus facile &agrave; exploiter et la souplesse habituelle du 450 KTM la rend accessible au plus grand nombre, malgr\u00e9 des performances affich\u00e9es qui sont de premier ordre. Comme sur la 250 SX-F, l&rsquo;agr\u00e9ment de pilotage est au rendez-vous, avec une transmission et un embrayage agr\u00e9ables et pr\u00e9cis, tandis que les nouveaux Brembo font merveille en offrant un freinage extr\u00eamement puissant tout en gardant un excellent feeling.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Les 125 et 150 SX restent au top<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Pour les plus jeunes, KTM continue &agrave; proposer sa fameuse SX 125, la r\u00e9f\u00e9rence incontest\u00e9e de la cat\u00e9gorie, et, depuis 2 ans, la SX 150. M\u00eame si le 2-temps n&rsquo;a plus trop la cote en motocross, les deux machines restent au top et n&rsquo;auront certainement pas &agrave; rougir face &agrave; beaucoup de 250 4-temps.
