Alors, quand il s&rsquo;agit de passer la journ\u00e9e sur 4 des motos les plus en vue du moment avec l&rsquo;encadrement des \u00e9quipes Husqvarna Factory et sur un circuit de Lommel pr\u00e9par\u00e9 avec le plus grand soin, on sait que l&rsquo;on va passer une journ\u00e9e hors du commun.<\/p>\n<div class=\"rgg-container\" data-rgg-id=\"1\">    <div class=\"rgg-imagegrid                     <\/a>\n            <\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>En arrivant sur place, je suis \u00e9videmment curieux de d\u00e9couvrir ce que cachent ces machines d&rsquo;exception. Ma curiosit\u00e9 devient d&rsquo;autant plus grande que j&rsquo;apprends que les machines n&rsquo;ont pas subi la moindre modification, pas m\u00eame le moindre petit changement de setting, depuis leur derni\u00e8re utilisation. Dans ces conditions, faire connaissance avec une machine, c&rsquo;est aussi faire connaissance avec son pilote. Conna\u00eetre ses pr\u00e9f\u00e9rences, d\u00e9couvrir son style de pilotage,&#8230; Je comprends par exemple \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent beaucoup mieux pourquoi Max Nagl roule de fa\u00e7on beaucoup plus agressive durant les premiers tours que durant le reste de la course.<\/p>\n<h5>Max \u2019The Expert\u2019 Nagl \u2013 FC450<\/h5>\n<p>Entamons d&rsquo;ailleurs la journ\u00e9e avec la machine de Max Nagl. A peine assis sur la moto, un bouton sur le guidon attire mon attention. Il s&rsquo;appelle le \u00ab\u00a0full power mapping\u00a0\u00bb. Vous l&rsquo;aurez compris, l&rsquo;activation de ce mode permet \u00e0 l&rsquo;Allemand de rouler de fa\u00e7on tr\u00e8s agressive durant le d\u00e9but de course. Mais m\u00eame un pilote de son niveau ne peut tenir ce r\u00e9gime une manche compl\u00e8te. Son m\u00e9canicien me pr\u00e9cise d&rsquo;ailleurs en riant qu&rsquo;il doit toujours penser \u00e0 \u00e9crire \u00ab\u00a0MAP\u00a0\u00bb sur le panneau lors du 2\u00e8me passage pour que Max pense \u00e0 quitter ce mode particuli\u00e8rement exigeant. Le syst\u00e8me fonctionne bien mais n&rsquo;a que peu de raison d&rsquo;\u00eatre sur un sol sablonneux tel que celui de Lommel.<\/p>\n<p>Je suis avant tout un pilote 250cc mais je peux vous dire que cette 450 de Max Nagl est certainement l&rsquo;une des plus accessibles du peloton MXGP. Les settings CDI d\u00e9velopp\u00e9s par Max rendent la courbe moteur particuli\u00e8rement lin\u00e9aire et douce. Le m\u00e9canicien de Nagl me confie \u00e9galement que la fourche utilis\u00e9e sur la machine de son prot\u00e9g\u00e9 est plus courte de 4 centim\u00e8tres par rapport au mod\u00e8le standard. Une solution test\u00e9e l&rsquo;hiver dernier et qui apporterait un r\u00e9el plus pour l&rsquo;Allemand.<\/p>\n<p>Tout cela me donne le sentiment que Max a \u00e9norm\u00e9ment d&rsquo;exp\u00e9rience en mati\u00e8re de mise au point d&rsquo;une moto. Et c&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs selon moi un must absolu pour rouler \u00e0 ce niveau. C&rsquo;est pourquoi j&rsquo;ai d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de donner le surnom \u00ab\u00a0The Expert\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 la 450 officielle de Nagl.<\/p>\n<h5>Max \u2018The Beast\u2019 Anstie \u2013 FC250<\/h5>\n<p>Max Anstie a remport\u00e9 la pupart des \u00ab\u00a0Fox Holeshots Awards\u00a0\u00bb cette ann\u00e9e. Je voulais donc \u00e0 tout prix essayer quelques d\u00e9parts \u00e0 bord de la FC 250 du Britannique. Le moteur a clairement beaucoup de puissance et du couple \u00e0 revendre avec son tr\u00e8s bel \u00e9chappement FMF bleut\u00e9. Mais on ne nous dira pas exactement \u00e0 quel niveau&#8230; Apr\u00e8s quelques tours, je me sens en confiance au guidon de cette machine et je me surprends vite \u00e0 essayer de nouvelles choses sur le circuit.<\/p>\n<p>Les suspensions sont tout simplement parfaites pour un pilote comme moi. J&rsquo;aime sauter le plus haut et le plus loin possible. Et cette machine permet tout ! Elle m\u00e9rite bien que je lui donne le surnom de \u00ab\u00a0The beast\u00a0\u00bb !<\/p>\n<h5>Thomas \u2018The Precision\u2019 Covington \u2013 FC250<\/h5>\n<p>Thomas Covington \u00e9tait pr\u00e9sent personnellement \u00e0 Lommel le jour de notre essai. Le pilote US venait informer son manager Jacky Martens de l&rsquo;\u00e9volution de sa blessure. Thomas est petit et plut\u00f4t l\u00e9ger et c&rsquo;est aussi un pilote qui a \u00e9norm\u00e9ment de technique. Cela se ressent imm\u00e9diatement au guidon de sa machine. La moto r\u00e9agit de fa\u00e7on tr\u00e8s souple, est tr\u00e8s agile mais garde malgr\u00e9 tout bien le cap. Les suspensions \u00e9taient trop souples pour moi. Pourquoi d\u00e8s lors lui donner le surnom \u00ab\u00a0The precision\u00a0\u00bb ? Tout simplement parce que c&rsquo;est une machine qui peut devenir incroyable si vous la pilotez avec pr\u00e9cision. Vous l&rsquo;aurez sans doute remarqu\u00e9 au style de pilotage de Thomas Convington, le jeune Am\u00e9ricain est d&rsquo;une pr\u00e9cision redoutable sur les sauts et soigne ses trajectoires pour survoler les zones les plus d\u00e9fonc\u00e9es.<\/p>\n<h5>Christophe \u2018The Mustang\u2019 Charlier \u2013 FC450<\/h5>\n<p>La machine de Charlier est typiquement ce \u00e0 quoi je m&rsquo;attendais pour le Fran\u00e7ais. La courbe du CDI est ici compl\u00e8tement diff\u00e9rente de celle de la moto de Nagl. Les deux pilotes sont partis de la m\u00eame base mais ont ensuite pris des directions tr\u00e8s personnelles dans les settings de leurs machines. Christophe Charlier est un pilote qui roule haut dans les tours et sa machine a de l&rsquo;allonge. Son style est plus agressif que celui de Nagl, il vient tr\u00e8s vite dans les virages et fait de gros freinages. Personnellement, j&rsquo;ai trouv\u00e9 sa moto difficile \u00e0 utiliser. Je ne suis pas habitu\u00e9 \u00e0 la puissance d&rsquo;une 450 et encore moins \u00e0 un moteur aussi agressif que celui de Charlier.
