D&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de jeu, le moteur se r\u00e9v\u00e8le comme l&rsquo;atout num\u00e9ro un de la machine autrichienne. C&rsquo;est &agrave; n&rsquo;en pas douter une moto d&rsquo;attaquant, qui affectionne sans broncher les hauts r\u00e9gimes. Jon, le m\u00e9canicien de Marvin, nous annonce d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e de jeu que la moto championne du monde prend plus de 15 000 tours\/min au banc d&rsquo;essai, tout simplement affolant !! Et lorsque la concurrence sature, la m\u00e9canique orange a encore des ressources. Certainement tr\u00e8s performant pour sortir la grosse attaque sur un chrono, nettement moins confortable et adapt\u00e9 pour une endurance de quatre ou six heures dans nos Ardennes&#8230; Le terrain d\u00e9fonc\u00e9 de notre essai eut rapidement raison des pauvres avant-bras des journalistes pr\u00e9sents ce jour-l&agrave;. Au 4\u00e8me tour, certains d&rsquo;entre eux se rangeaient sur le c\u00f4t\u00e9 pour s&rsquo;\u00e9tirer, c&rsquo;est tout dire&#8230; N\u00e9anmoins, c&rsquo;est pr\u00e9cis, efficace, et je mets au d\u00e9fi le commun des pilotes de r\u00e9ussir &agrave; talonner sur une r\u00e9ception de saut&#8230;<br \/>\nRayon freinage, on sent vite l&agrave; aussi qu&rsquo;on a affaire &agrave; des \u00e9l\u00e9ments d&rsquo;usine. En ligne, c&rsquo;est ultra-performant et sur l&rsquo;angle, la prudence est de rigueur tant les \u00e9l\u00e9ments Brembo sont aff\u00e0\u00bbt\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"lightbox [dia]\" \/>\n<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\n450 Nagl\/Barragan: des motos d&rsquo;hommes&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nettement plus de diff\u00e9rences entre ces deux machines que ce ne fut les cas pour les quarts de litre. Commen\u00e7ons par la moto de Barragan, frapp\u00e9e du num\u00e9ro 7 et victorieuse de deux Grand Prix cette saison (Valkenswaard et Bellpuig). De suite, la position s&rsquo;av\u00e8re peu conventionnelle. Le guidon WRP sans barre et au cintre tr\u00e8s haut est coupl\u00e9 &agrave; une selle creus\u00e9e, provoquant in\u00e9vitablement un effet \u00ab chopper \u00bb. D\u00e8s les premiers hectom\u00e8tres, on comprend vite qu&rsquo;on est sur une moto d&rsquo;homme tant la force du bloc autrichien fait peur ! Un caract\u00e8re tr\u00e8s \u00e9lectrique et une puissance &agrave; la limite de l&rsquo;exploitable. En bas, il lui reste encore un zeste de souplesse mais, arriv\u00e9 &agrave; mi-r\u00e9gime, la puissance se r\u00e9v\u00e8le d&rsquo;un autre monde. Le terrain de notre essai, b\u00e9ton et fraichement arros\u00e9, colle assez peu avec le caract\u00e8re bouillant du 450 d&rsquo;usine. Vigilance et souplesse de pilotage sont donc de rigueur. Pour vous donner une petite id\u00e9e, chaque r\u00e9ception de saut &agrave; plat (et sans allonger outre mesure)  rappelle &agrave; mon bon souvenir des entorses aux chevilles contract\u00e9es il y a de cela plusieurs saisons&#8230; Qualifiez cela comme vous voudrez mais c&rsquo;est tout sauf progressif et confortable. A se demander comment fait l&rsquo;Espagnol pour tenir deux fois quarante minutes dans ces conditions&#8230;dantesques!<\/p>\n<p> <a rel=\"lightbox [dia2]\" instants plus tard, c&rsquo;est au tour de la moto de Nagl. Dans ce cas-ci, la position s&rsquo;av\u00e8re plus classique: selle neutre et guidon plus droit malgr\u00e9 le fait qu&rsquo;il semble court, tr\u00e8s court. Quelques encablures plus tard, m\u00eames sensations moteur que sur la moto de Barragan, avec toutefois un caract\u00e8re l\u00e9g\u00e8rement att\u00e9nu\u00e9. C&rsquo;est un peu plus souple, un peu plus exploitable et un peu moins brutal. Ca n&rsquo;en reste pas moins une machine &agrave; ne pas mettre entre toutes les mains tant la puissance et l&rsquo;allonge demeurent impressionnantes. Il suffit de compter le nombre de holeshot r\u00e9alis\u00e9s par l&rsquo;allemand cette saison pour s&rsquo;en faire une petite id\u00e9e. Rayon chassis et suspensions, c&rsquo;est ferme une fois de plus mais pas aussi extr\u00e8me que chez l&rsquo;Espagnol. Dans les freinages d\u00e9fonc\u00e9s, mieux vaut chercher les bords de piste avec un profil de trous moins carr\u00e9s sans quoi le physique en prend directement un coup !<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-5591\" title=\"Un poil plus facile que la machine de Barragan, la 450 SX-F de Nagl reste n\u00e9anmoins un monstre de puissance...\" src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/ktm_factory_action1.jpg\" data-orig-src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/ktm_factory_action1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27500%27%20height%3D%27333%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20500%20333%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27500%27%20height%3D%27333%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/ktm_factory_action1-300x199.jpg 300w, https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/10\/ktm_factory_action1.jpg 500w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px\" \/><\/p>\n<p> Plusieurs essayeurs d&rsquo;un jour se sont d&rsquo;ailleurs fait prendre en d\u00e9faut dans un virage trou\u00e9, sur l&rsquo;angle, et dans lequel la fourche avait parfois tendance &agrave; jouer de mauvais tours&#8230; En bref et en r\u00e9sum\u00e9, on est aux antipodes de la moto \u00ab facile et confortable \u00bb recherch\u00e9e par le commun des pilotes.<br \/>\nPour l&rsquo;anecdote, Cairoli a essay\u00e9 la m\u00eame version quelques jours avant sa signature avec le constructeur autrichien et a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 lui-m\u00eame la moto \u00ab inconduisible \u00bb dans cette configuration. C&rsquo;est tout dire&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3 choses &agrave; retenir<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nous retiendrons trois choses de l&rsquo;essai de ces machines hors du commun:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Les motos d&rsquo;usine conservent le caract\u00e8re de la s\u00e9rie (ou r\u00e9ciproquement). Le moteur de la SXF marche fort, le moteur de la SXF d&rsquo;usine marche tr\u00e8s fort ! Les suspensions WP de s\u00e9rie sont fermes, les WP factory sont tr\u00e8s s\u00e8ches et enfin si la 450 SXF est un bout de bois, son homologue d&rsquo;usine est un v\u00e9ritable tronc d&rsquo;arbre&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> La seconde conclusion est que le caract\u00e8re moteur mais surtout de l&rsquo;ensemble chassis\/suspensions ne conviendrait pas &agrave; la plupart des utilisateurs. La notion de confort n&rsquo;ayant probablement pas \u00e9t\u00e9 prise en compte dans les bureaux d&rsquo;\u00e9tude autrichiens&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Enfin, le caract\u00e8re de chaque moto est typiquement &agrave; l&rsquo;image de son pilote. La moto de Marvin est tr\u00e8s joueuse et son poste de pilotage droit (Renthal 997). Celle de Rui adopte quant &agrave; elle une position plus basse et sur l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re (Renthal Fatbar 604), &agrave; l&rsquo;image du gabarit de jockey de son pilote.
