Avec ses solutions techniques aussi surprenantes qu&rsquo;in\u00e9dites, elle pousse encore un peu plus loin les limites de sa cat\u00e9gorie et permet au constructeur aux 3 diapasons , plus de 10 ans apr\u00e8s le lancement de la premi\u00e8re 400 YZ-F, de r\u00e9affirmer sa passion pour l&rsquo;innovation technologique.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis la publication des premi\u00e8res images, la nouvelle Yamaha 450 YZ-F a fait beaucoup parler d&rsquo;elle. L&rsquo;adoption d&rsquo;une culasse invers\u00e9e, mont\u00e9e sur un cylindre inclin\u00e9 vers l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re, dans laquelle l&rsquo;admission s&rsquo;effectue par l&rsquo;avant et l&rsquo;\u00e9chappement vers l&rsquo;arri\u00e8re. Le but de la man\u00c5\u201cuvre ? Optimiser la r\u00e9partition des masses en les rapprochant au maximum du centre de gravit\u00e9 de la machine. Ainsi, la configuration moteur permet-elle au filtre &agrave; air de se retrouver juste au-dessus de la culasse, tandis que l&rsquo;essence occupe pour sa part un point plus central, le r\u00e9servoir s&rsquo;\u00e9tendant sous la selle jusqu&rsquo;&agrave; l&rsquo;amortisseur arri\u00e8re, lui aussi beaucoup plus proche du centre de gravit\u00e9 que sur une moto \u00ab traditionnelle meilleur remplissage de la culasse, qui perd au passage sa 5\u00e8me soupape, devenue inutile. Un remplissage optimis\u00e9 qui va de pair avec une courbe de puissance plus remplie surtout dans les mi-r\u00e9gimes, alors que l&rsquo;injection \u00e9lectronique s&rsquo;occupe de r\u00e9guler &agrave; la perfection l&rsquo;alimentation en carburant du 450 Yamaha. Car \u00e9videmment, la Yam abandonne enfin son carburateur pour adopter un syst\u00e8me d&rsquo;injection param\u00e9trable via un accessoire d\u00e9nomm\u00e9 \u00ab YZ Power Tuner \u00bb (disponible chez votre dealer Yamaha contre 330 \u00e2\u201a\u00ac TVAC), lequel permet de se concocter un moteur \u00ab&agrave; la carte \u00bb gr\u00e0\u00a2ce &agrave; ses 9 points de r\u00e9glage pr\u00e9d\u00e9finis. Et ce, sans qu&rsquo;aucun ordinateur ne soit n\u00e9cessaire !<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les originalit\u00e9s de la nouvelle 450 YZ-F, on notera aussi son \u00e9chappement \u00ab Tornado \u00bb, \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un r\u00e9sonateur afin de r\u00e9duire les \u00e9missions sonores et de gagner en souplesse, dont le coude plonge vers le silencieux en effectuant une spirale afin d&rsquo;obtenir une longueur comparable &agrave; celle constat\u00e9e sur un \u00e9chappement habituel. Un condition sine qua non pour offrir au moteur toute la progressivit\u00e9 et la souplesse n\u00e9cessaires.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Puissance ma\u00eetris\u00e9e<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Mais tout cela suffit-il &agrave; faire de la Yamaha la machine de cross ultime, celle dont tous les crossmen avaient toujours r\u00eav\u00e9 ? Sur la piste, la diff\u00e9rence est en tout cas bien sensible. A la moindre sollicitation du poignet droit, c&rsquo;est une cavalerie impressionnante qui se met &agrave; l&rsquo;\u00c5\u201cuvre ! A un tel point que c&rsquo;est avec une certaine appr\u00e9hension que l&rsquo;on entame les premiers tours de piste. Mais la crainte et le doute laissent finalement assez rapidement place &agrave; un indescriptible sentiment de ma\u00eetrise et d&rsquo;assurance. L&rsquo;injection \u00e9lectronique joue en effet parfaitement son r\u00f4le et, pour celui qui sait exploiter le coffre r\u00e9jouissant du bloc Yamaha, ce dernier se r\u00e9v\u00e8le diablement efficace et facile &agrave; ma\u00eetriser, r\u00e9servant aux pilotes les plus aff\u00e0\u00bbt\u00e9s ses prestations &agrave; couper le souffle tout en haut. Vous r\u00eaviez d&rsquo;une 450 qui offre autant de facilit\u00e9 et de pr\u00e9cision en entr\u00e9e de virage qu&rsquo;une 250 ? Yamaha l&rsquo;a fait pour vous ! Le travail effectu\u00e9 pour recentrer les masses et abaisser le centre de gravit\u00e9 permet &agrave; la nouvelle YZ-F d&rsquo;offrir une pr\u00e9cision d\u00e9concertante en entr\u00e9e de courbe. Le train avant est l\u00e9ger et se place vraiment o\u00f9 on veut.<\/p>\n<p>Une fois les settings de suspensions ajust\u00e9s (les r\u00e9glages d&rsquo;origine sont plut\u00f4t fermes), le nouvel amortisseur et la tout aussi nouvelle fourche Kayaba, au d\u00e9battement augment\u00e9 de 10mm, compl\u00e8tent un tableau d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment tr\u00e8s flatteur en venant offrir &agrave; un ch\u00e0\u00a2ssis remarquablement \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 un amortissement &agrave; la fois confortable et s\u00e9curisant.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"lazyload alignnone size-full wp-image-5948\" title=\"Le ch\u00e0\u00a2ssis remarquablement \u00e9quilibr\u00e9 de la nouvelle Yam permet de se sentir rapidement en confiance &agrave; son guidon.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/yam_450_10_action3.jpg\" data-orig-src=\"http:\/\/www.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/yam_450_10_action3.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"403\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"data:image\/svg+xml,%3Csvg%20xmlns%3D%27http%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2000%2Fsvg%27%20width%3D%27403%27%20height%3D%27600%27%20viewBox%3D%270%200%20403%20600%27%3E%3Crect%20width%3D%27403%27%20height%3D%27600%27%20fill-opacity%3D%220%22%2F%3E%3C%2Fsvg%3E\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/yam_450_10_action3-201x300.jpg 201w, https:\/\/fr.motocrossmag.be\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/12\/yam_450_10_action3.jpg 403w\" data-sizes=\"auto\" data-orig-sizes=\"(max-width: 403px) 100vw, 403px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Une moto pour tous ?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A mettre d\u00e8s lors entre toutes les mains, la nouvelle Yam 450 ? Sans doute pas. Car, si le comportement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la machine r\u00e9jouira les bons comme les moins bons, il ne faut pas perdre de vue qu&rsquo;il s&rsquo;agit d&rsquo;une moto d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e pour s&rsquo;imposer au plus haut niveau et que, par cons\u00e9quent, le niveau de performance d\u00e9livr\u00e9 par son bloc in\u00e9dit risque bien de d\u00e9stabiliser les moins exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s, ceux qui n&rsquo;auront pas encore le feeling indispensable pour exploiter au mieux son coffre \u00e9poustouflant.<\/p>\n<p>Quant aux autres, quelle que soit leur vitesse, un minimum de bagage technique devrait leur permettre d&rsquo;appr\u00e9cier &agrave; sa juste valeur une machine avec laquelle le constructeur aux 3 diapasons vient &#8211; une fois de plus- de poser de nouveaux standards.
