H\u00e9las, le citoyen de Lommel, d\u00e9j\u00e0 contraint de jeter l&rsquo;\u00e9ponge dans la course au titre europ\u00e9en ces deux derni\u00e8res saisons suite \u00e0 des blessures, n&rsquo;ira pas plus loin que le 6\u00e8me tour. Victime d&rsquo;une chute tr\u00e8s spectaculaire, il se fracturait le tibia dans l&rsquo;aventure. Voil\u00e0 qui met sans doute d\u00e9j\u00e0 un terme \u00e0 sa campagne europ\u00e9enne&#8230;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Alors que les manches de cette premi\u00e8re \u00e9preuve EMX 300 de la saison ont \u00e9t\u00e9 domin\u00e9es par Anderson et le champion en titre Mike Kras, on se console avec la tr\u00e8s belle 3\u00e8me place d&rsquo;Erik Willems. le pilote Husqvarna se montre \u00e0 deux reprises le plus rapide derri\u00e8re les deux hommes forts de la cat\u00e9gorie et monte ainsi sur un premier podium. Derri\u00e8re, c&rsquo;est Kenny Vandueren qui prend la 4\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n<p>Quant \u00e0 Greg Smets, le fils du quintuple champion du monde entre en beaut\u00e9 sur le championnat d&rsquo;Europe. Avec une 15\u00e8me puis une 12\u00e8me places, il marque de bons points au championnat et pointe \u00e0 la 11\u00e8me position en quittant l&rsquo;Allemagne.
