En l&rsquo;absence de Ryan Dungey, tout juste retrait\u00e9, et de Ken Roczen, toujours convalescent, Marvin Musquin s&rsquo;est charg\u00e9 de donner la r\u00e9plique \u00e0 Eli Tomac. Battu sur le fil sur le championnat SX, le pilote Kawasaki entend bien prendre sa revanche avec un titre outdoor et c&rsquo;est d&rsquo;ailleurs plut\u00f4t bien parti. Il a en effet remport\u00e9 assez facilement les deux manches.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Musquin a pourtant bien men\u00e9 quelques tours durant le d\u00e9but de course, avant de devoir laisser filer la Kawasaki num\u00e9ro 3&#8230; puis de revenir en fin de course apr\u00e8s une petite chute de Tomac. Mais Tomac ne se laisse pas d\u00e9stabiliser et termine le travail en signant son premier succ\u00e8s outdoor de la saison.<\/p>\n<p>Josh Grant dominait la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 de la seconde manche avant de devoir laisser passer Musquin. Troisi\u00e8me, Tomac ne fait alors qu&rsquo;une bouch\u00e9e de son co\u00e9quipier Grant pour hausser le ton et venir mettre sans attendre Musquin sous pression. Mais le Fran\u00e7ais ne se laisse pas faire, r\u00e9plique avec brio aux attaques de l&rsquo;Am\u00e9ricain et tient le public de Hangtown en haleine. Mais Tomac est indiscutablement un cran au-dessus et finit par s&rsquo;installer aux commandes pour de bon. Il creuse m\u00eame un \u00e9cart confortable pour s&rsquo;envoler vers son premier doubl\u00e9 de la saison. Musquin et Grant l&rsquo;accompagnent sur le podium.<\/p>\n<p>En MX250, Zach Osborne, fra\u00eechement titr\u00e9 en SX 250 sur la c\u00f4te est, a annonc\u00e9 sans attendre la couleur. L&rsquo;officiel Husqvarna sera difficile \u00e0 battre. Il remporte de fa\u00e7on autoritaire les deux manches \u00e0 Hangtown. Ses rivaux ont manqu\u00e9 de r\u00e9gularit\u00e9. Deuxi\u00e8me en premi\u00e8re manche, Cianciarulo se contente d&rsquo;une 8\u00e8me place plus tard dans la journ\u00e9e, tandis que son co\u00e9quipier Forkner n&rsquo;avait termin\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re manche qu&rsquo;en 11\u00e8me position avant de terminer le week-end sur une tr\u00e8s belle 2\u00e8me place dans la seconde manche.
