Le club de Cherain f\u00eatait ce jeudi la 60\u00e8me \u00e9dition de son motocross. Une \u00e9preuve plus ancienne que l’AMPL elle-m\u00eame puisque, bien avant que la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration ne soit cr\u00e9\u00e9e, un motocross \u00e9tait organis\u00e9 \u00e0 Cherain dans le cadre de la kermesse locale. Il s’agissait \u00e0 l’\u00e9poque d’une \u00e9preuve disput\u00e9e pour le plaisir, en dehors de tout championnat, \u00e0 laquelle les participants prenaient part aux guidons de machines de route transform\u00e9es pour la pratique du tout-terrain. Une autre \u00e9poque…<\/p>\n
Cette ann\u00e9e, l’\u00e9preuve de Cherain constituait la deuxi\u00e8me manche du championnat AMPL qui a pris son envol le week-end pass\u00e9 \u00e0 Mellier. En soixante ans, le circuit de Cherain a forc\u00e9ment \u00e9volu\u00e9 mais pla\u00eet encore gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son c\u00f4t\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0old school\u00a0\u00bb, comme nous le confirme J\u00e9r\u00f4me Martiny, la vainqueur du jour chez les Inters MX1 : \u00ab\u00a0Le circuit \u00e9tait top aujourd’hui\u00a0\u00bb, confie le pilote Husqvarna. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai vraiment ce genre de circuits car il s’agit d’un trac\u00e9 100% naturel, comme dans le temps. Je prends beaucoup de plaisir \u00e0 rouler ici. Et forc\u00e9ment quand je peux en plus monter sur la plus haute marche du podium !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
Car oui, c’est J\u00e9r\u00f4me Martiny qui s’est impos\u00e9 ce jeudi \u00e0 Cherain. Second derri\u00e8re Arnaud Englebert en premi\u00e8re manche, Martiny s’imposait dans la seconde alors qu’Englebert, impliqu\u00e9 dans une chute collective au d\u00e9part (dans laquelle \u00e9taient \u00e9galement impliqu\u00e9s notamment J\u00e9r\u00e9my Nique et Benjamin Doyen, qui abandonnera), se contentait d’une 4\u00e8me place. Martiny pr\u00e9c\u00e9dait donc sur le podium de Cherain Englebert et Thielens (5+3) tandis que Nique remontait jusqu’en 9\u00e8me position en seconde manche, ce qui lui permettait de terminer au pied du podium devant Maxence Fourny (6+5).<\/p>\n

Chez les Inters MX2, Eric Hubin n’a pas connu le m\u00eame succ\u00e8s qu’\u00e0 Mellier. Le leader du championnat a \u00e9t\u00e9 victime d’un bris de cha\u00eene alors qu’il \u00e9tait en deuxi\u00e8me position en premi\u00e8re manche avant de se contenter d’une 5\u00e8me place dans la deuxi\u00e8me. Dorian Deville signe pour sa part un doubl\u00e9 autoritaire devant Morgan Kintziger (2+2) et Vincent Grandjean (3+4).<\/p>\n
La 3\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat AMPL, c’est d\u00e8s ce dimanche sur un autre classique du championnat puisque c’est le circuit de D\u00fcrler qui attend les pilotes de la f\u00e9d\u00e9ration… sous le soleil !<\/p>\n
