Le circuit de Gesves, en province de Namur, accueillait ce dimanche la 6\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat AMPL. Les averses soutenues du samedi ont contraint les organisateurs \u00e0 annuler les entra\u00eenements libres pr\u00e9vus la veille de l’\u00e9preuve AMPL afin de pr\u00e9server le trac\u00e9 naturel en prairie pour les courses du lendemain. Sage d\u00e9cision puisque c’est sur une piste en excellent \u00e9tat et sous une m\u00e9t\u00e9o qui, contre toute attente, est rest\u00e9e s\u00e8che pratiquement toute la journ\u00e9e, que les quelque 500 pilotes pr\u00e9sents \u00e0 Gesves ont pu rouler ce dimanche.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chez les Inters, plusieurs pilotes de la VMCF sont venus relever le plateau habituel mais c’est surtout la pr\u00e9sence du Suisse Julien Bill, ancien champion du monde MX3, qui a retenu l’attention du public gesvois. Le prot\u00e9g\u00e9 de Tony Lef\u00e8bvre, pr\u00e9sident du club organisateur, a pleinement jou\u00e9 son r\u00f4le de favori. Il part en t\u00eate de la premi\u00e8re manche avant d’\u00eatre victime d’une crevaison et de devoir laisser passer \u00e0 quelques minutes du drapeau \u00e0 damiers la TM de David Foguenne. Le double vainqueur de Bastogne remporte la premi\u00e8re manche devant Bill et Slegers.<\/p>\n

Le d\u00e9part de la deuxi\u00e8me manche voit Junior Slegers chuter lourdement au premier freinage. La chute est spectaculaire, la KTM de Slegers s’envole au-dessus du peloton mais plus de peur que de mal finalement. La direction de course pr\u00e9f\u00e8re ne pas prendre de risque et permettre aux services de secours d’effectuer sereinement son travail sur la piste et d\u00e9cide donc de donner un second d\u00e9part. Steve Thielens s’envole cette fois en t\u00eate mais le pilote Kawasaki se fait rapidement d\u00e9border par la Suzuki de Julien Bill. Le Suisse ne sera plus inqui\u00e9t\u00e9. Il s’impose devant Arnaud Englebert, le leader du championnat, 5\u00e8me en premi\u00e8re manche, montant par la m\u00eame occasion sur la 2\u00e8me marche du podium du jour derri\u00e8re le pilote suisse tandis que c’est Roy Sillien (4+3) qui monte sur la 3\u00e8me marche. David Foguenne a pour sa part \u00e9t\u00e9 victime d’ennuis m\u00e9caniques dans la seconde manche et a \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint \u00e0 l’abandon.<\/p>\n

Eric Hubin renoue avec le succ\u00e8s. Il remporte les deux manches Inters MX2 \u00e0 Gesves.<\/p><\/div>\n

En MX2, Eric Hubin retrouve un circuit qui lui pla\u00eet et le pilote Yamaha ne se fait pas prier pour remporter les deux manches. Il renoue ainsi avec le succ\u00e8s et s’impose devant Tim Louis (3+2) et William Devillet (4+4), qui retrouve le bon rythme apr\u00e8s de longues semaines de convalescence. Remi Fraikin (3+6) et Morgan Kintziger (14+2) compl\u00e8tent le top-5.<\/p>\n

Dans la Coupe Yamagha 125cc, Adrien Helas contre-attaque ce week-end en signant un tr\u00e8s beau doubl\u00e9 devant Alan No\u00ebl (3+2) et le leader du classement provisoire J\u00e9r\u00f4me Doyen (2+4). En lui reprenant 9 points, Helas revient \u00e0 un tout petit point au classement provisoire du championnat !<\/p>\n

C’est une \u00e9preuve particuli\u00e8re qui attend les pilotes AMPL pour la 7\u00e8me manche de leur championnat puisque c’est en nocturne que l’on roulera le week-end prochain \u00e0 Haid pour f\u00eater les 40 ans du club organisateur. Les entra\u00eenements d\u00e9buteront \u00e0 14h30 tandis que la derni\u00e8re manche se terminera peu apr\u00e8s une heure du matin sur une piste \u00e9videmment \u00e9clair\u00e9e pour l’occasion.<\/p>\n
