Ils ont en effet propos\u00e9 \u00e0 quelques chanceux journalistes (dont nous faisions partie !) de comparer sur la piste d&rsquo;Ern\u00e9e, en France, la KX-F 250 utilis\u00e9e par Marvin Musquin en 2007 avec celle que pilote cette saison l&rsquo;Am\u00e9ricain Marshal Weltin sur le championnat d&rsquo;Europe 250. La machine est rest\u00e9e durant 10 ans entrepos\u00e9e chez BUD et reprenait du service sp\u00e9cialement pour l&rsquo;occasion. Un vrai bijou qui n&rsquo;a certainement rien \u00e0 envier aux machines align\u00e9es aujourd&rsquo;hui par le team fran\u00e7ais. Un vrai plaisir pour les yeux ! Quant \u00e0 savoir si les prestations en piste allaient \u00eatre du m\u00eame niveau&#8230; voil\u00e0 \u00e9videmment la question que tout le monde se posait. En th\u00e9orie, ce mod\u00e8le 2007 devait \u00eatre domin\u00e9 par la version 2017 sur tous les plans. Suspensions, ch\u00e2ssis, moteur, centralisation des masses,&#8230; tout ou presque a \u00e9t\u00e9 revu entre les deux mill\u00e9simes. J&rsquo;ai surtout \u00e9t\u00e9 surpris par sa maniabilit\u00e9, c&rsquo;est vraiment une machine hyper amusante \u00e0 piloter. Dans les longues mont\u00e9es d&rsquo;Ern\u00e9e, je me rends par contre tr\u00e8s vite compte de la relative fragilit\u00e9 du moteur. \u00ab\u00a0Ca claque !\u00a0\u00bb me dit-on lorsque je rentre sous l&rsquo;auvent du team BUD Racing. J&rsquo;ai une seule fois pouss\u00e9 le moteur dans ses derniers retranchements dans une c\u00f4te exigeante et je crois que cela s&rsquo;est entendu dans toute la vall\u00e9e ! Mais ce qui est \u00e9vident, c&rsquo;est que cette machine qui \u00e9tait \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9poque une vraie r\u00e9volution n&rsquo;est finalement pas aussi \u00e9loign\u00e9e des performances d&rsquo;une machine standard d&rsquo;aujourd&rsquo;hui. Mon premier sentiment, c&rsquo;est que la machine est tr\u00e8s proche du mod\u00e8le 2007 que je viens d&rsquo;essayer, en tout cas de par la position du guidon ou celle des leviers. Durant les premi\u00e8res minutes, j&rsquo;ai l&rsquo;impression de piloter une r\u00e9plique de la version 2007 de Musquin. Mais c&rsquo;\u00e9tait jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que j&rsquo;arrive au pied du premier grand d\u00e9nivel\u00e9 du circuit. L\u00e0 o\u00f9 le mod\u00e8le 2007 stoppait ses efforts \u00e0 la moiti\u00e9 de la c\u00f4te, la KX-F 2017 poursuit sans faiblir jusqu&rsquo;au sommet. Il n&rsquo;y a pas photo ! La puissance est omnipr\u00e9sente et le bloc semble beaucoup moins fragile que la version 2007. Le travail effectu\u00e9 par Kawasaki et par BUD est \u00e9vident.<\/p>\n<p>Je suis d&rsquo;ailleurs curieux de voir ce que les 10 prochaines ann\u00e9es nous r\u00e9servent.
