Comme l’an pass\u00e9, une Husqvarna et une Yamaha se sont disput\u00e9 la victoire jusque dans les derniers instants de course. Encore une fois, c’est la Husqvarna qui s’est impos\u00e9e. Pour la deuxi\u00e8me ann\u00e9e cons\u00e9cutive, Wietse Brackman, associ\u00e9 cette fois \u00e0 Kevin Fors et Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Goblet, offre la victoire \u00e0 Husqvarna. Et si la 38\u00e8me Chinelle a d\u00e9but\u00e9 dans la grisaille, c’est sous le soleil qu’on a c\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 l’arriv\u00e9e du fameux tour d’horloge.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Avec le vainqueur de l’an pass\u00e9 et deux co\u00e9quipiers pour le moins exp\u00e9riment\u00e9s \u00e0 Franchimont avec d\u00e9j\u00e0 3 victoires au compteur pour Kevin Fors et une pour le multiple champion de Belgique d’enduro Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Goblet, Wim Vanderheyden avait sur le papier l’une des \u00e9quipes la plus homog\u00e8ne du plateau de cette 38\u00e8me \u00e9dition des 12 Heures de la Chinelle. Et cela s’est v\u00e9rifi\u00e9 sur la piste puisque les 3 hommes ont alli\u00e9 vitesse, r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 et r\u00e9ussite pour g\u00e9rer jusqu’au drapeau \u00e0 damiers la pression entretenue par la Yamaha n\u00b091 d’Antoine Magain.<\/p>\n

La Yamaha du team Zone Rouge \u00e9choue de peu face \u00e0 la Husqvarna officielle de Brackman, Fors et Goblet.<\/p><\/div>\n

La r\u00e9ussite, voil\u00e0 sans doute ce qui aura manqu\u00e9 \u00e0 la Yamaha du team Zone Rouge. Tr\u00e8s rapides en piste, Magain et ses co\u00e9quipiers ont domin\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 de course. Sur la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium des deux derni\u00e8res \u00e9ditions de la Chinelle, Minimax avait de bonnes raisons de se voir enfin acc\u00e9der \u00e0 la plus haute marche… jusqu’\u00e0 ce qu’une pierre ne vienne endommager l’\u00e9trier de frein avant dans la 7\u00e8me heure de course. Le staff technique de Michel Nickmans intervient tr\u00e8s rapidement pour remplacer l’\u00e9trier mais ce sont un peu plus de 3 minutes qui s’envolent. Trois minutes que le trio franco-belge, avec Magain et Van Hoevelen tr\u00e8s bien \u00e9paul\u00e9s par un Jeremy Carpentier engag\u00e9 en derni\u00e8re minute pour remplacer Marc Bourgeois, bless\u00e9, lui aussi impressionnant, ne parviendra jamais \u00e0 reprendre. Car la Yamaha n\u00b091 a beau aligner de tr\u00e8s bons chronos, la Husqvarna n\u00b028 tourne elle aussi comme une horloge et \u00e9vite tous les pi\u00e8ges d’une piste qui s’ass\u00e8che mais reste particuli\u00e8rement pi\u00e9geuse.<\/p>\n

Pour la deuxi\u00e8me fois, Husqvarna remporte donc les 12 Heures tandis qu’Antoine Magain se contente une fois de plus de la 2\u00e8me marche du podium, au terme d’une tr\u00e8s belle course.<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re les deux machines de t\u00eate, c’est la KTM d’Andrew Leloup, Nick Triest et Andy Truyts qui signe une superbe course et se place sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium.<\/p>\n
