Pour sa premi\u00e8re apparition sur une \u00e9preuve US, le Hollandais dicte sa loi comme seul avait su le faire avant lui Jean-Michel Bayle&#8230; en 1989 !<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Vainqueur d&rsquo;une premi\u00e8re manche dont il a pris rapidement le contr\u00f4le et dans laquelle il a su se mettre \u00e0 l&rsquo;abris de la pression qu&rsquo;a tent\u00e9 d&rsquo;entretenir Marvin Musquin, second devant Bagett pendant que Tomac chutait, brisait son levier d&#8217;embrayage et se contentait d&rsquo;une 5\u00e8me place, Jeffrey Herlings a \u00e9t\u00e9 tout simplement \u00e9blouissant dans la seconde manche. Mal parti, il chute dans le premier tour. Mais l&rsquo;officiel KTM repart le couteau entre les dents et se retrouve finalement en deuxi\u00e8me place derri\u00e8re Musquin, qui tient alors la victoire au g\u00e9n\u00e9ral. Mais Herlings met une pression maximale et Musquin part \u00e0 la faute alors qu&rsquo;un demi-tour reste \u00e0 parcourir. La voie royale pour le triple champion du monde MX2 qui s&rsquo;envole vers un doubl\u00e9 historique sur cette finale du championnat US.<\/p>\n<p>Derri\u00e8re Tomac assure une prudente 6\u00e8me place qui permet au pilote Kawasaki de coiffer sa premi\u00e8re couronne 450. Deuxi\u00e8me \u00e0 Ironman avec 4 points de plus que Baggett, Musquin coiffe l&rsquo;ancien leader du championnat sur le fil pour le titre de vice-champion.<\/p>\n<p>En 250, Zach Osborne, d\u00e9j\u00e0 titr\u00e9 le week-end dernier \u00e0 Budds Creek, termine en beaut\u00e9 avec un ultime doubl\u00e9.
