La premi\u00e8re machine de cross du march\u00e9 dont les param\u00e8tres moteur se r\u00e8glent \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un smartphone vient d&rsquo;arriver dans le r\u00e9seau officiel Yamaha. Notre pilote Yente Dourte l&rsquo;avait d\u00e9couverte en avant-premi\u00e8re sur la piste italienne d&rsquo;Ottobiano. Plus que jamais, Yamaha a voulu reserrer la relation entre l&rsquo;humain et la machine. Et cela passe par un cadre plus compact, une selle plus petite et plus plate pour favoriser les d\u00e9placements du pilote, une optimisation de la centralisation des masses par un repositionnement du moteur dans le cadre (ce qui permet notamment de garder un meilleur contr\u00f4le de la machine durant les p\u00e9riodes de freinage) ou un amortisseur arri\u00e8re Kayaba de derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, \u00e9quip\u00e9 d&rsquo;un r\u00e9servoir au volume plus important. Avouons-le, le d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique est en quelques ann\u00e9es devenu un must sur les machines de cross&#8230;<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Machine connect\u00e9e<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Quand on parle de connectivit\u00e9 sur la nouvelle Yamaha, on parle aussi forc\u00e9ment d&rsquo;\u00e9lectronique. Deux composants principaux \u00e0 ce niveau : le ECU (le cerveau central de la machine) et le CCU (le dispositif de communication qui envoie les informations vers votre smartphone). A tout cela, il convient d&rsquo;ajouter l&rsquo;appli \u00ab\u00a0Power Tuner\u00a0\u00bb d\u00e9velopp\u00e9e par Yamaha. L&rsquo;objectif principal des ing\u00e9nieurs : une machine toujours aussi performante mais plus facile \u00e0 garder sous contr\u00f4le. La nouvelle culasse et la nouvelle position du moteur dans le cadre optimisent la centralisation des masses tandis qu&rsquo;un nouveau vilebrequin et un pistion haute compression plus r\u00e9sistant assurent un gain de puissance. En outre, les param\u00e8tres de l&rsquo;injection \u00e9lectronique ont \u00e9t\u00e9 compl\u00e8tement revus, les radiateurs ont gagn\u00e9 5% en volume et les 2\u00e8me, 3\u00e8me et 4\u00e8me rapports sont d\u00e9sormais un peu plus longs. L&#8217;embrayage re\u00e7oit quant \u00e0 lui des disques plus costauds. Autant de modifications qui rendent la Yamaha avant tout plus confortable \u00e0 piloter. Assur\u00e9ment une belle machine ! Sobre et \u00e9l\u00e9gante, elle d\u00e9gage une impression de force et de puissance tr\u00e8s agr\u00e9able \u00e0 contempler. Sa robe bleue est d\u00e9sormais soulign\u00e9e par des jantes anodis\u00e9es dans le m\u00eame ton. Les plastiques sont \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent r\u00e9alis\u00e9s en polyamide, ce qui leur offre une meilleure r\u00e9sistance contre les chocs et les rend plus l\u00e9gers.<\/p>\n<p>Tant qu&rsquo;on parle de poids, sachez que le mod\u00e8le 2018 de la YZ-F 450 affiche le m\u00eame poids sur la balance que le mod\u00e8le 2017 et ce, malgr\u00e9 l&rsquo;adoption du d\u00e9marreur \u00e9lectrique et l&rsquo;ajout de la batterie au lithium qu&rsquo;il n\u00e9cessite. Le cadre plus compact a \u00e9galement conduit les Bleus \u00e0 revoir la capacit\u00e9 du r\u00e9servoir, \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent de 6,2 litres. Sommes-nous en Italie ou aux USA? La piste sablonneuse est pr\u00e9par\u00e9e aux petits oignons pour nous accueillir, frais\u00e9e, arros\u00e9e,&#8230; Le test-rider Yamaha Herjan Brakke et l&rsquo;ancien champion du monde MXGP Romain F\u00e8bvre nous attendent, le ciel est bleu,&#8230; tous les ingr\u00e9dients sont r\u00e9unis pour appr\u00e9cier la Yam.<\/p>\n<p>Celle-ci ne se fait d&rsquo;ailleurs pas prier pour mettre en avant son \u00e9norme potentiel. Elle est maniable dans les virage mais m&rsquo;impressionne surtout sur les sauts. J&rsquo;ai vraiment l&rsquo;impression de sauter avec un v\u00e9lo ! Autre point qui retient mon attention : le bruit d\u00e9gag\u00e9 par l&rsquo;\u00e9chappement d&rsquo;origine. C&rsquo;est rauque, profond,..Cela me pla\u00eet ! Finalement, seule l&rsquo;entr\u00e9e en virage me pose un peu probl\u00e8me. La Yamaha ne veut pas toujours s&rsquo;engager dans l&rsquo;orni\u00e8re de mon choix et je dois un peu me battre pour garder la bonne trajectoire. Finalement, plus les tours passent et plus le circuit devient ab\u00eem\u00e9 et plus il est facile de garder la moto sous contr\u00f4le.
