Plus de 350 pilotes s’\u00e9taient donn\u00e9 rendez-vous ce week-end \u00e0 Mettet pour la 31\u00e8me \u00e9dition du fameux Superbiker, l’\u00e9v\u00e9nement Supermoto incontournable de fin de saison.<\/strong><\/p>\n

C\u2019est \u00e0 nouveau sur l\u2019ancien trac\u00e9 routier que se sont affront\u00e9s les pilotes venus des quatre coins de la plan\u00e8te. Un trac\u00e9 atypique, unique en son genre, appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 des pilotes pour sa technicit\u00e9, mais surtout pour sa proximit\u00e9 avec le public. Le Superbiker, c\u2019est avant tout une atmosph\u00e8re unique\u00a0! Le public ne s\u2019y est pas tromp\u00e9 et est venu en masse applaudir et supporter ces chevaliers des temps modernes. Malgr\u00e9 une m\u00e9t\u00e9o bien belge, ce sont pr\u00e8s de 25.000 personnes qui ont fait le d\u00e9placement pour admirer le plus grand \u00e9v\u00e9nement supermoto au monde. Un spectacle ininterrompu trois jours durant, m\u00ealant courses \u00e0 suspense et animations \u00e0 couper le souffle.<\/p>\n

Le retour des l\u00e9gendes<\/strong><\/p>\n

Un des temps forts de ce Ladbrokes Superbiker fut sans conteste le Ladbrokes Legend Biker. Les \u00ab\u00a0anciens\u00a0\u00bb se sont retrouv\u00e9s pour une course exceptionnelle au guidon de motos identiques\u00a0: des TM 300cc 2 temps.<\/p>\n

Le spectacle fut au rendez-vous lors des deux courses. Le premier d\u00e9part fut donn\u00e9 \u00e0 12h10. Les l\u00e9gendes n\u2019ayant rien perdu de leur hargne, la lutte fut serr\u00e9e, notamment pour la 2\u00e8me place entre l\u2019espagnol Ruben Xaus et G\u00e9rald Delepine. Au passage du drapeau \u00e0 damier, c\u2019est Eddy Seel qui s\u2019est impos\u00e9 devant Delepine et Xaus.<\/p>\n

La seconde manche fut tout aussi anim\u00e9e, les \u00ab\u00a0anciens\u00a0\u00bb r\u00e9galant le public avec leurs longues d\u00e9rives dont ils ont encore le secret. C\u2019est un G\u00e9rald Delepine survolt\u00e9 que nous avons pu admirer, prenant le large tour apr\u00e8s tour. Comme lors de la premi\u00e8re manche, la seconde place s\u2019est jou\u00e9e entre Seel et Xaus. Eddy Seel, vainqueur en premi\u00e8re manche fut l\u2019auteur d\u2019une incroyable remont\u00e9e, s\u2019offrant le scalpe de Xaus avant de fondre sur Delepine pour \u00e9chouer \u00e0 278 milli\u00e8mes de la premi\u00e8re place.<\/p>\n

Les juniors \u00e0 l\u2019honneur<\/strong><\/p>\n

Si les anciens ont ravi le public, les juniors les ont conquis. Pour la seconde ann\u00e9e, le Junior Superbiker a \u00e0 nouveau mis la jeunesse \u00e0 l\u2019honneur.<\/p>\n

Barry Baltus, vainqueur l\u2019an pass\u00e9 a trouv\u00e9 \u00e0 qui parler en la personne de Gabin Planques. Les deux jeunes pilotes se sont livr\u00e9 une lutte sans merci lors des deux s\u00e9ances d\u2019essais chronom\u00e9tr\u00e9s. Au terme de la seconde session, Planques signait un chrono de 1\u201922\u2019\u2019215, devan\u00e7ant Baltus de 0.139 secondes\u00a0!<\/p>\n

La course a d\u00e9pass\u00e9 toutes les esp\u00e9rances. C\u2019est \u00e0 une lutte acharn\u00e9e entre Barry Baltus et Gabin Planques que le public survolt\u00e9 du Ladbrokes Superbiker a eu droit. Quatre temps contre deux temps, tour apr\u00e8s tour, d\u00e9passement apr\u00e8s d\u00e9passement, le suspense fut insoutenable. Au terme des 12 minutes de course, l\u2019ind\u00e9cision planait encore. C\u2019est finalement le jeune pilote Zelos\/Classic21 qui s\u2019est impos\u00e9 de justesse avec 205 milli\u00e8mes\u00a0! Gabin Planques prend donc la deuxi\u00e8me place suivi par Nyls Kessen. Ces jeunes pilotes sont d\u00e9cid\u00e9ment l\u2019avenir du sport motocycliste, f\u00e9licitations \u00e0 vous tous et \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e prochaine\u00a0!<\/p>\n

Une finale intense<\/strong><\/p>\n

Le niveau fut particuli\u00e8rement \u00e9lev\u00e9 cette ann\u00e9e. Les hostilit\u00e9s ont d\u00e9but\u00e9 d\u00e8s les essais du vendredi. Les leaders se\u00a0sont succ\u00e9d\u00e9 tout au long des diff\u00e9rentes sessions, certaines \u00e9tant marqu\u00e9es par plusieurs averses.<\/p>\n

La finale marquera assur\u00e9ment les esprits. C\u2019est une lutte intense \u00e0 laquelle se sont livr\u00e9 les cadors de la discipline. Trois pilotes se sont rapidement isol\u00e9s pour ne plus se quitter\u00a0: Markus Class, Lukas H\u00f6llbacher et Thomas Chareyre.
\nD\u00e9passements au chausse-pied et longues glisses ont r\u00e9gal\u00e9 le public. Au terme de la course, Thomas Chareyre s\u2019est impos\u00e9 de justesse devant Lukas H\u00f6llbacher, Markus Class cl\u00f4turant le podium de ce 31\u00e8me Ladbrokes Superbiker.<\/p>\n

Notons la magnifique performance de Xavier Sim\u00e9on, vainqueur de la cat\u00e9gorie starbikers devant Ruben Xaus et Loris Cresson.<\/p>\n

Ladbrokes Superquader\u00a0: un spectacle ininterrompu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Les quaders nous ont offert un spectacle des plus impressionnants. Chaque session donna son lot de frissons avec des d\u00e9passements toujours aussi spectaculaires et avec des travers dignes des meilleurs sp\u00e9cialistes du drift.<\/p>\n

Maxim Cluydts fut imp\u00e9rial tout le week-end, d\u00e8s les essais du vendredi. Le belge a survol\u00e9 la finale du Ladbrokes Superquader ne laissant que des miettes \u00e0 ses adversaires.
