Cette belle histoire a dur\u00e9 jusqu\u2019en 2015 lorsque Tim Gajser est devenu champion du monde \u00e0 son guidon. Et voici qu\u2019une toute nouvelle version de la 250 vient de voir le jour. Une vraie r\u00e9volution, en fait.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qu\u2019une grande marque comme Honda renouvelle ses machines de cross, quoi de plus normal. Pourtant, il est vrai que les mises \u00e0 jour de ce type de machines n\u2019ont habituellement rien d\u2019extaordinaire. C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019ann\u00e9e apr\u00e8s ann\u00e9e, ces machines progressent petit \u00e0 petit. Dans le cas de la nouvelle CRF, on n\u2019en est plus \u00e0 une mise \u00e0 jour suppl\u00e9mentaire. En effet, les ing\u00e9nieurs de chez Honda ont d\u00e9cid\u00e9 d\u2019abandonner le syst\u00e8me UNICAM (arbre \u00e0 cames unique) dont les avantages \u00e9taient principalement li\u00e9s au gain de place. En effet, les quarts de litre modernes sont devenues tellement puissantes que le bloc moteur doit pouvoir prendre plus de tours pour d\u00e9livrer toute la puissance disponible, ce qui n\u2019\u00e9tait pas possible avec le syt\u00e8me UNICAM. On avait atteint les limites du syst\u00e8me. Or, Honda devait et voulait aller plus loin. C\u2019est ainsi qu\u2019elle a \u00e9t\u00e9 dot\u00e9e de deux \u00e9chappements, pas simplement deux sorties mais bien deux v\u00e9ritables lignes d&rsquo;\u00e9chappements. Autre grande nouveaut\u00e9 sur le mod\u00e8le 2018, c\u2019est l\u2019existence d\u2019un starter \u00e9lectrique (et l\u2019absence de kick) ainsi que le choix entre trois mappings: confort, standard et agressif. La question qui se pose maintenant est de savoir si Honda a pu conserver les sensations typiques qu\u2019on \u00e9prouvait au guidon de la CRF. Nous\u00a0nous sommes rendus dans les environs de Rome sur le circuit de Pontesfondato, circuit complet qui convient aussi bien aux pilotes amateurs qu\u2019aux pilotes confirm\u00e9s, pour faire connaissance avec cette nouvelle machine. Etait pr\u00e9sent lors de notre essai un certain Tim Galser qui nous a donn\u00e9 un aper\u00e7u du potentiel de la nouvelle 250 Honda\u2026<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Puissance sous contr\u00f4le<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>C\u2019est par un petit soleil de novembre que nous nous sommes donc retouv\u00e9s \u00e0 Pontesfondato. Chaque moto mise \u00e0 notre disposition \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9e de son propre m\u00e9canicien, dont la pr\u00e9sence n\u2019\u00e9tait finalement pas vraiment n\u00e9cessaire dans la mesure o\u00f9 la machine dont nous disposions nous convenait parfaitement, m\u00eame au niveau des commandes. Lors de nos premiers tours, nous avons choisi le mapping standard. En effet, le DOHC permet au moteur de prendre 1000 tours suppl\u00e9mentaires c\u2019est \u00e0 dire qu\u2019il monte d\u00e9sormais jusque 14.000 tours pour d\u00e9livrer une puissance en augmentation de 9%. C\u2019est sans aucun doute la CRF250R la plus puissante sur laquelle nous ayons jamais roul\u00e9. M\u00eame lors de la deuxi\u00e8me session lors de laquelle nous avons roul\u00e9 avec le mapping soft (doux), la moto a conserv\u00e9 tout son allant. Dans cette configuration, nous avons davantage exploit\u00e9 la moto. Ce qui nous laisse \u00e0 penser qu\u2019elle conviendra mieux \u00e0 un pilote amateur. Puissante et exploitable. Par contre, dans la configuration la plus agressive, la CRF d\u00e9m\u00e9nage m\u00e9chamment. A la moindre rotation sur la poign\u00e9e de gaz, on re\u00e7oit une claque dans le dos. On trouve ainsi une certaine agressivit\u00e9 dont manquaient les anciens mod\u00e8les lorsqu\u2019on voulait vraiment attaquer.<\/p>\n<h5>L&rsquo;ADN de la CRF pr\u00e9serv\u00e9<\/h5>\n<p>Ce qui est r\u00e9jouissant, c\u2019est que Honda est parvenu \u00e0 garder la personnalit\u00e9 typique de sa CRF malgr\u00e9 une puissance nettement sup\u00e9rieure. La moto est facilement exploitable et elle dispose notamment de la meilleure fourche que la CRF ait jamais eue. Il s\u2019agit en fait de la m\u00eame que celle dont dispose la CRF450R. Elle est progressive au d\u00e9but et procure un excellent retour d\u2019information ce qui met en confiance dans les virages. Au bout d\u2019une trentaine de m\u00e8tres, la nouvelle CRF a d\u00e9j\u00e0 mis un m\u00e8tre dans la vue au mod\u00e8le 2017. Cette importante traction est due \u00e0 un bras oscillant plus court et \u00e0 la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie modifi\u00e9e du cadre. On ressent cette traction accrue que nous avons v\u00e9rifi\u00e9e en r\u00e9alisant plusieurs d\u00e9parts en m\u00eame temps que la CRF 2017.
