L&rsquo;Autrichien s&rsquo;offre donc l&rsquo;\u00e9dition anniversaire du myhtique rallye dont on f\u00eatait cette ann\u00e9e la 40\u00e8me organisation. Il avait termin\u00e9 second du rallye l&rsquo;an pass\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chez KTM, on esp\u00e9rait \u00e9videmment plus que tout un 17\u00e8me succ\u00e8s cons\u00e9cutif sur l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve. On pensait avant tout aux anciens vainqueurs Toby Price et Sam Sunderland mais c&rsquo;est donc finalement l&rsquo;Autrichien Matthias Walkner qui cr\u00e9e la surprise. Une victoire qui est ind\u00e9niablement celle de la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9. Quand pratiquement tous les favoris sont partis tour \u00e0 tour \u00e0 la faute, parfois synonyme d&rsquo;abandon comme pour Sunderland, Barreda ou Van Beveren, Walkner a jou\u00e9 plac\u00e9 tout au long des 14 \u00e9tapes. Une strat\u00e9gie payante. Il succ\u00e8de ainsi \u00e0 son co\u00e9quipier Sam Sunderland, lequel avait abandonn\u00e9 d\u00e8s la 4\u00e8me \u00e9tape alors qu&rsquo;il occupait la t\u00eate du classement provisoire.<\/p>\n<p>Derri\u00e8re Walkner, ce sont Kevin Benavides et Toby Price qui compl\u00e8tent le podium du 40\u00e8me Dakar.
