A 35 ans et pas moins de 16 saisons SX au compteur, l&rsquo;Australien esp\u00e9rait remporter cette ann\u00e9e une 45\u00e8me finale et devenir ainsi le plus vieux vainqueur d&rsquo;une \u00e9preuve sur le championnat US et comptait quoi qu&rsquo;il arrive battre le record de 227 d\u00e9parts d&rsquo;une finale de la cat\u00e9gorie reine, \u00e9galement d\u00e9tenu depuis plus de 10 ans par Larocco.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Les difficult\u00e9s physiques que rencontre actuellement Reed, pratiquement incapable de s&rsquo;entra\u00eener entre les courses, font malheureusement en sorte que le pilote priv\u00e9 Husqvarna semble provisoirement \u00e9cart\u00e9 de la course \u00e0 la victoire. Mais en remportant hier \u00e0 Tampa la \u00ab\u00a0last chance\u00a0\u00bb et en d\u00e9crochant ainsi sa place derri\u00e8re la grille de d\u00e9part de la 8\u00e8me finale de la saison, Reed ajoutait \u00e0 son palmar\u00e8s une 228\u00e8me finale dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine du championnat AMA.
