Une bonne surprise quoi qu&rsquo;il en soit pour les fans belges qui voyaient ainsi l&rsquo;un des teams les plus en vue du paddock MXGP aligner dans la cat\u00e9gorie reine deux pilotes wallons. De la KTM 250 priv\u00e9e qu&rsquo;il pilotait la saison pass\u00e9e sur le championnat MX2 \u00e0 la Kawasaki 450 Factory qu&rsquo;il d\u00e9couvre cette saison, il n&rsquo;y a visiblement qu&rsquo;un pas pour notre compatriote. \u00ab\u00a0La diff\u00e9rence est davantage physique que mentale\u00a0\u00bb, explique le pilote Kawasaki. \u00ab\u00a0Sur une 250, tu peux rester full-gas toute la manche. Avec une 450, c&rsquo;est diff\u00e9rent. Tu peux pousser beaucoup durant quelques tours mais ensuite, tu es forc\u00e9ment assez vite fatigu\u00e9. En particulier en ce qui me concerne car je n&rsquo;ai pas encore vraiment eu beaucoup de temps pour m&rsquo;entra\u00eener. En Argentine par exemple, le samedi, j&rsquo;ai roul\u00e9 fort en d\u00e9but de course mais j&rsquo;\u00e9tais compl\u00e8tement mort apr\u00e8s 10 minutes \u00e0 peine !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab\u00a0Il s&rsquo;agit de rester calme, de laisser derri\u00e8re soi ses r\u00e9flexes de pilote 250&#8230;\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Passer dans la cat\u00e9gorie MXGP, au guidon d&rsquo;une des machines les plus performantes du plateau, c&rsquo;est aussi pour Julien Lieber se trouver de nouvelles limites. \u00ab\u00a0Le samedi sur le premier GP, je dois avouer que j&rsquo;avais encore un peu peur de la moto ! Sur les sauts, tu peux arriver tellement vite et sauter tellement loin qu&rsquo;il est facile de d\u00e9passer ce que l&rsquo;on pense \u00eatre la limite. La vitesse en soin n&rsquo;est pas tant diff\u00e9rente de celle de la cat\u00e9gorie MX2 mais la puissance&#8230; sur les sauts, il est vraiment facile de retomber trop loin. Par exemple, sur la 450, on passe les rapports beaucoup plus t\u00f4t car la puissance ne se trouve pas au m\u00eame endroit que sur la 250. Il faut adapter son style. Aussi parce que je reviens de blessure, le team est cool avec moi \u00e0 ce niveau. En comparaison avec la saison pass\u00e9e o\u00f9 je roulais pour le podium, cela m&rsquo;enl\u00e8ve pas mal de pression.
