Jeffrey Herlings avait annonc\u00e9 la couleur ce samedi apr\u00e8s-midi en remportant de fa\u00e7on autoritaire la manche qualificative MXGP. Apr\u00e8s avoir vu Antonio Cairoli signer son premier succ\u00e8s de la saison et revenir par la m\u00eame occasion \u00e0 sa hauteur au classement provisoire du championnat \u00e0 RedSand, le Hollandais a r\u00e9agi avec la vigueur que l’on est en droit d’attendre d’un pilote de sa trempe. Il remporte \u00e0 Arco di Trento ce dimanche son 3\u00e8me succ\u00e8s cette ann\u00e9e et s’installe \u00e0 nouveau seul aux commandes du championnat. Troisi\u00e8me \u00e0 domicile, Antonio Cairoli suit d\u00e9sormais \u00e0 10 unit\u00e9s de son co\u00e9quipier.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Cairoli n’a eu le privil\u00e8ge que de mener quelque minutes seulement la seconde manche. Pour le reste, Jeffrey Herlings lui a vol\u00e9 la vedette devant le public italien. Sur la piste tr\u00e8s rapide d’Arco di Trento, le Hollandais a men\u00e9 la premi\u00e8re manche de bout en bout devant Cl\u00e9ment Desalle, le pilote Kawasaki terminant \u00e0 5 secondes. Romain F\u00e8bvre prend la 3\u00e8me place devant Antonio Cairoli. Parti dans le top-10, l’Italien est remont\u00e9 vers la t\u00eate de la course au fil des tours mais \u00e0 mis longtemps \u00e0 prendre le meilleur sur Tim Gajser. Le pilote Honda HRC termine 5\u00e8me devant Paulin et Coldenhoff.<\/p>\n

Troisi\u00e8me podium de la saison pour Desalle<\/h5>\n

Dans la deuxi\u00e8me manche, Herlings ne met pas longtemps \u00e0 d\u00e9border Cairoli. Le Hollandais file alors vers son second succ\u00e8s de la journ\u00e9e. Derri\u00e8re Cairoli, Cl\u00e9ment Desalle met quelques tours \u00e0 trouver l’ouverture sur Glenn Coldenhoff mais le Belge s’installe \u00e0 la 3\u00e8me place et s’assure ainsi de monter sur son 3\u00e8me podium de la saison, aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s des deux officiels KTM. Deuxi\u00e8me du GP, Desalle est aussi le premier \u00e0 s’intercaler cette ann\u00e9e entre les deux leaders du classement provisoire.<\/p>\n

Van Horebeek cl\u00f4ture son week-end italien sur une 10\u00e8me et une 6\u00e8me places tandis que Ken De Dycker, contraint \u00e0 l’abandon dans la premi\u00e8re manche, prend sa revanche dans la seconde en marquant les 5 premiers points de sa saison.<\/p>\n

Neuvi\u00e8me puis 15\u00e8me apr\u00e8s avoir \u00e9t\u00e9 point\u00e9 au premier passage en 23\u00e8me position, Julien Lieber conserve malgr\u00e9 tout sa place dans le top-10 du classement provisoire.<\/p>\n

On reste dans le sud la semaine prochaine pour le 5\u00e8me round de la saison puisque c’est la piste d’Agueda, au Portugal, qui accueillera les pilotes MXGP.<\/p>\n
