Le N\u00e9o-Z\u00e9landais, 16 ans, dispute ce week-end sur l&rsquo;\u00e9preuve Dutch Masters of Motocross de Mill sa premi\u00e8re course pour l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe de Jimmy Verburgh. D\u00e8s le week-end prochain, il fera ses d\u00e9buts sur le championnat d&rsquo;Europe EMX125 \u00e0 Kegums.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Le nouveau co\u00e9quipier de Kjell Verbruggen, Wannes van de Voorde et Mario Lucas n&rsquo;a pas pu d\u00e9buter sa saison plus t\u00f4t \u00e0 cause d&rsquo;une fracture du bras survenue fin janvier.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab\u00a0Je voulais revenir en Europe. J&rsquo;attendais seulement la bonne proposition. Elle est venue de F4E Racing\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>James Scott est consid\u00e9r\u00e9 en Nouvelle-Z\u00e9lande comme un grand espoir du motocross. Il y a remport\u00e9 le titre national en 85cc en 2016 avant de terminer \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place sa premi\u00e8re saison en 125cc. En 2016, il a \u00e9galement particip\u00e9 au championnat d&rsquo;Europe EMX150 Honda avec quelques belles manches \u00e0 la cl\u00e9, dont une seconde place \u00e0 Matterley Basin.<\/p>\n<p>Surtout, il est le prot\u00e9g\u00e9 de Ben Townley. Il a d&rsquo;ailleurs pass\u00e9 cet hiver avec Liam Everts aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de l&rsquo;ancien champion du monde MX2.<\/p>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Cela a toujours \u00e9t\u00e9 mon objectif de revenir en Europe\u00a0\u00bb, explique James Scott. \u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;attendais seulement la bonne proposition. Je suis tr\u00e8s heureux qu&rsquo;elle soit venur de F4E Racing ! Etant donn\u00e9 que j&rsquo;ai manqu\u00e9 les deux premi\u00e8res \u00e9preuves, j&rsquo;ai avant tout l&rsquo;ambition de me montrer sur le championnat EMX125, de tenter de remporter des courses. La course de Mill ce week-end est une belle entr\u00e9e en mati\u00e8re, je manque encore de rythme en course et je ne suis pas un sp\u00e9cialiste du sable.
