Le championnat Supercross et ses 17 rounds qui s’encha\u00eenent pratiquement sans discontinuer de semaine en semaine \u00e0 peine derri\u00e8re eux, les pilotes US entament le championnat outdoor. Douze \u00e9preuves au programme, dont la premi\u00e8re se disputait \u00e0 Hangtown, en Californie, ce samedi.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Les champions en titre n’ont pas manqu\u00e9 leur rentr\u00e9e. En MX450, Eli Tomac a soif de revanche. Lui qui est pass\u00e9 cet hiver \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 d’un titre Supercross qui lui semblait promis ne veut en aucun cas manquer l’occasion d’oublier sa d\u00e9convenue en coiffant une deuxi\u00e8me couronne outdoor cons\u00e9cutive. Le pilote Kawasaki excelle en motocross peut-\u00eatre encore plus qu’en Supercross. Sa domination ce week-end \u00e0 Hangtown face \u00e0 un Marvin Musquin d\u00e9termin\u00e9 mais impuissant annonce clairement la couleur. Et personne n’a sembl\u00e9 en mesure de venir de m\u00ealer \u00e0 la bagarre en t\u00eate, pas m\u00eame Justin Barcia, excellent 3\u00e8me. Le tout nouveau champion SX Jason Anderson se contente de la 4\u00e8me place devant Blake Baggett.<\/p>\n

Ken Roczen signe pour sa part une belle 6\u00e8me place dans la premi\u00e8re manche avant de se contenter d’une 16\u00e8me position dans la seconde. De retour \u00e0 moto apr\u00e8s de longs mois de convalescence, l’Allemand \u00e9tait bien parti mais n’a pu tenir le rythme et a termin\u00e9 la manche en roue libre. Sans surprise, le pilote Honda HRC ne sera vraisemblablement pas candidat au titre outdoor cette ann\u00e9e.<\/p>\n

Zach Osborne entame sa saison outdoor par un doubl\u00e9.<\/p><\/div>\n

Sc\u00e9nario du m\u00eame ordre en MX250. L\u00e0, Zach Osborne semble lui aussi sur une autre plan\u00e8te et hyper motiv\u00e9 \u00e0 l’id\u00e9e de reconduire son doubl\u00e9 SX\/MX de 2017. Le pilote Husqvarna a domin\u00e9 outrageusement les deux manches. Il s’impose \u00e0 deux reprises devant Jeremy Martin tandis que Aaron Plessinger place sa Yamaha sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium.<\/p>\n
