En s’imposant dans les deux manches du GP de Grande-Bretagne ce dimanche \u00e0 Matterley Basin, Pauls Jonass a remport\u00e9 son 5\u00e8me succ\u00e8s de la saison. De quoi permettre au Letton d’arriver sur le 10\u00e8me round du championnat le week-end prochain \u00e0 Saint-Jean-d’Ang\u00e9ly avec 28 points d’avance sur son jeune co\u00e9quipier Jorge Prado.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Jorge Prado qui a une fois de plus \u00e9t\u00e9 l’adversaire le plus dangereux du champion du monde MX2 en titre. Le tr\u00e8s rapide Espagnol a m\u00eame \u00e9t\u00e9 le seul \u00e0 tenir la comparaison avec Jonass, menant notamment la premi\u00e8re moiti\u00e9 de la seconde manche.<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re les deux officiels KTM, il faut attendre pr\u00e8s de 50 secondes pour voir arriver Thomas Covington. L’Am\u00e9ricain s’est battu avec Thomas Kjer Olsen pour la 3\u00e8me place durant toute la manche avant que le Danois ne disparaisse de la course \u00e0 deux tours de la fin. C’est Calvin Vlaanderen qui h\u00e9rite de la 4\u00e8me place devant Marshal Veltin, Ben Watson et Henry Jacobi.<\/p>\n

Dans la seconde manche, Jacobi occupe longuement la 3\u00e8me place avant de subir les retour de Calvin Vlaanderen et Ben Watson. Mal parti, Thomas Covington ne terminait qu’en 9\u00e8me position. Son co\u00e9quipier Thomas Kjer Olsen abandonnait cette fois \u00e0 4 tours de la fin alors qu’il occupait la 5\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

Seizi\u00e8me seulement derri\u00e8re Brent Van Doninck (15+18) en premi\u00e8re manche, Jago Geerts signait une meilleure seconde manche pour placer sa Yamaha \u00e0 la 7\u00e8me position. Il occupe actuellement la 8\u00e8me place du classement provisoire.<\/p>\n
