Habituellement organis\u00e9e dans le sable d’Assen la coupe du monde v\u00e9t\u00e9rans d\u00e9m\u00e9nageait cette ann\u00e9e vers Matterley Basin. Un changement de d\u00e9cor radical qui a s\u00e9duit Alain Drezen.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Lorsque j’ai appris que la coupe du monde v\u00e9t\u00e9rans se disputait \u00e0 Matterley Basin cette ann\u00e9es, cela m’a d\u00e9finitivement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 \u00e0 y participer\u00a0\u00bb, lance le pilote fran\u00e7ais, habitu\u00e9 de la cat\u00e9gorie des Experts du championnat AMPL. \u00ab\u00a0Une fois sur place, je n’ai pas \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9\u00e7u. Mais entre ce que l’on voit \u00e0 la t\u00e9l\u00e9 et la r\u00e9alit\u00e9, il y a un monde de diff\u00e9rence. Les sauts sont \u00e9normes, le circuit est tr\u00e8s rapide,… bref, cela n’a pas grand-chose \u00e0 voir avec ce que je connais tous les week-ends sur le championnat AMPL ! Le stress s’est vite install\u00e9…\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Le samedi matin, j’ai bien eu besoin des 40 minutes d’essais pour apprivoiser le circuit et parvenir \u00e0 franchir tous les sauts tout en gardant un rythme correct. Franchement, ce n’\u00e9tait pas gagn\u00e9 d’avance\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit-il. \u00ab\u00a0A l’issue des essais, je r\u00e9alise le 17\u00e8me chrono. Pas si mal avec une 250 qui manquait \u00e9videmment de puissance face aux 450 dans les grandes mont\u00e9es de la piste de Matterley Basin. Je suis d’ailleurs le premier pilote 250 4-temps des essais.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Pilote fran\u00e7ais, Alain Drezen est l’un des animateurs de la cat\u00e9gorie des Experts \u00e0 l’AMPL.<\/p><\/div>\n

\u00ab\u00a0En premi\u00e8re manche, je pars mal mais je me faufile entre les pilotes pour revenir 12\u00e8me, juste derri\u00e8re un certan Bogomir Gajser. Dans la 2\u00e8me, le d\u00e9part n’est pas meilleur. Je prends un mauvais rythme en mettant trop de temps \u00e0 d\u00e9passer un pilote devant moi et je termine 13\u00e8me. Quoi qu’il en soit, peu importe le r\u00e9sultat. La piste \u00e9tait g\u00e9niale, superbement pr\u00e9par\u00e9e et j’ai pris beaucoup de plaisir \u00e0 rouler. C’est une exp\u00e9rience inoubliable, j’invite sans h\u00e9siter tous les pilotes experts et v\u00e9t\u00e9rans \u00e0 tenter l’aventure et \u00e0 vivre cette exp\u00e9rience. Ils ne le regretteront pas !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
