S’il ne revient de France qu’avec quelques points de plus en poche, Cyril Genot n’en a pas moins sign\u00e9 des prestations encourageantes sur la piste de Saint-Jean-d’Ang\u00e9ly. Alors qu’il effectuait sa toute premi\u00e8re course au guidon de la KTM 250 SX-F de son nouveau team, l’\u00e9quipe fran\u00e7aise KTM\/VHR Racing, Cyril a sign\u00e9 un excellent 6\u00e8me temps chrono dans le groupe A lors des essais matinaux.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Qualifi\u00e9 haut la main donc pour ce qui \u00e9tait la 6\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat d’Europe EMX250, notre compatriote part dans les 20 premiers lors de la premi\u00e8re manche samedi apr\u00e8s-midi. Alors qu’il remontait dans le tr\u00e8s rapide et tr\u00e8s compact peloton EMX250, une petite faute le faisait r\u00e9trograder. Il termine 18\u00e8me, non sans avoir sign\u00e9 quelques tr\u00e8s bons chronos en fin de manche.<\/p>\n

La pluie tomb\u00e9e durant la nuit du samedi au dimanche a rendu le circuit de Saint-Jean-d’Ang\u00e9ly particuli\u00e8rement compliqu\u00e9 pour la deuxi\u00e8me manche. Cyril part dans le top-15 et remonte 12\u00e8me avant de chuter dans la ligne droite de d\u00e9part compl\u00e8tement d\u00e9tremp\u00e9e. Il continue et s’accroche pour marquer le point de la 20\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

Premier test et premi\u00e8re sortie r\u00e9ussie pour la nouvelle recrue du team VHR qui a montr\u00e9 de belles choses. Davantage de temps de roulage au guidon de la machine de l’\u00e9quipe de Bruno Verhaeghe devrait permettre \u00e0 Cyril de rouler prochainement \u00e0 son meilleur niveau. D\u00e8s le week-end prochain \u00e0 Ottobiano ?
