Alors que le championnat MXGP vient d’entrer dans sa seconde moiti\u00e9, il semble plus que jamais \u00e9vident que rien n’est jou\u00e9 en MX2 entre Pauls Jonass et Jorge Prado. Ce dimanche, c’est Prado qui inscrit \u00e0 son nom le 11\u00e8me round de la saison \u00e0 Ottobiano en devan\u00e7ant Thomas Covington et le leader du classement provisoire Pauls Jonass.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Avec \u00e0 pr\u00e9sent 99 points d’avance sur le 3\u00e8me pilote du provisoire, le duo Jonass\/Prado domine le championnat MX2. Les deux officiels KTM composent avec les coups d’\u00e9clat de leurs adversaires dont aucun ne peut cependant afficher la r\u00e9gularit\u00e9 du duo de t\u00eate. Deuxi\u00e8me de la premi\u00e8re manche derri\u00e8re la Husqvarna de Covington, Prado a ensuite remport\u00e9 la deuxi\u00e8me manche face au rapide Thomas Kjer Olsen. Pendant ce temps, Pauls Jonass prenait pour sa part \u00e0 deux reprises la 3\u00e8me place. De quoi laisser son adversaire espagnol lui reprendre \u00e0 nouveau 7 unit\u00e9s au classement provisoire.<\/p>\n

En t\u00eate depuis le d\u00e9but de la saison, ultra-dominateur sur les premiers GP, le champion du monde MX2 en titre doit depuis faire face \u00e0 un Jorge Prado qui sait se montrer fort sur tous les types de circuits ainsi que sur des outsiders pr\u00eats \u00e0 profiter du moindre faux pas de l’un des deux officiels KTM pour s’intercaller entre eux. Bref, Jonass est sous pression. Son avantage en t\u00eate du championnat sur Prado n’est plus que de neuf unit\u00e9s. Et vu l’\u00e9tat de forme de l’Espagnol combin\u00e9 au fait que les candidats au podium sont plut\u00f4t nombreux, c’est tout sauf confortable pour le Letton. La tourn\u00e9e asiatique, avec deux GP les 1er et 8 juillet, sera sans doute tr\u00e8s importante pour les deux hommes.<\/p>\n

Le rookie de la cat\u00e9gorie Jago Geerts signe quant \u00e0 lui un excellent week-end dans le sable italien. Il place sa Yamaha aux 6 et 7\u00e8mes places dans les manches. Deux nouvelles solides prestations pour le jeune Belge qui le placent \u00e0 la 6\u00e8me position du classement du jour.<\/p>\n
