Cette fois, c’est fait. A force d’aligner les bons r\u00e9sultats, Jorge Prado a pris la t\u00eate du classement provisoire du championnat du monde MX2. Au d\u00e9triment du champion du monde en titre Pauls Jonass. En t\u00eate depuis l’ouverture de la saison, le Letton a vu son avance fondre peu \u00e0 peu au fil des semaines pour finalement voir son jeune co\u00e9quipier, 17 ans, revenir \u00e0 sa hauteur \u00e0 l’occasion du GP de Semarang il y a deux semaines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

En devan\u00e7ant \u00e0 deux reprises Jonass ce dimanche \u00e0 Loket, 14\u00e8me rendez-vous de la saison, Jorge Prado (3+1) lui a pris 11 points qui lui permettent d’occuper d\u00e9sormais seul la t\u00eate du classement provisoire MX2 avant d’arriver dans le sable de Lommel, sur une piste qui lui a souvent r\u00e9ussi, les 4 et 5 ao\u00fbt prochains.<\/p>\n

Dans la premi\u00e8re manche, Prado est parti en t\u00eate mais a d\u00fb s’incliner face \u00e0 Thomas Covington puis face la Honda HRC de Clavin Vlaanderen, le Sud-Africain finissant par prendre le meilleur sur l’Am\u00e9ricain dans les derniers tours de course pour signer sa deuxi\u00e8me victoire de manche de la saison.<\/p>\n

Thomas Covington est de nouveau dans le coup pour la victoire en seconde manche mais cette fois Jorge Prado, \u00e0 nouveau parti en t\u00eate, ne quittera pas le leadership et emportera devant l’officiel Husqvarna sa 9\u00e8me manche de la saison. Vlaanderen est 3\u00e8me devant Thomas Kjer Olsen (7+4) et Pauls Jonass (4+5).<\/p>\n

Jago Geerts est une fois de plus l’auteur d’un bon week-end. Second hier de la manche qualificative, le pilote Yamaha Kemea prend \u00e0 deux reprises la 9\u00e8me place dans les manches. Brent Van Doninck termine pour sa part 16\u00e8me puis 12\u00e8me.<\/p>\n

Pauls Jonass sera-t-il en mesure de r\u00e9pliquer d\u00e8s le prochain GP \u00e0 la prise de pouvoir de Jorge Prado et emp\u00eacher l’Espagnol de prendre le large alors que le championnat entre dans sa derni\u00e8re ligne droite ? R\u00e9ponse les 4 et 5 ao\u00fbt, en Belgique, dans le sable de Lommel !<\/p>\n
