Ambiance estivale pour la 13\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat AMPL ce week-end \u00e0 W\u00e9ris, pr\u00e8s de la c\u00e9l\u00e8bre \u00ab\u00a0plus petite ville du monde\u00a0\u00bb Durbuy. Une organisation sur deux journ\u00e9es pour le SC W\u00e9ris qui, avec la p\u00e9riode de s\u00e9cheresse que nous connaissons cet \u00e9t\u00e9, a eu fort \u00e0 faire pour se battre contre la poussi\u00e8re.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sur le tr\u00e8s beau circuit naturel de W\u00e9ris, les manches Inters MX2 \u00e9taient particuli\u00e8rement attendues puisque les deux leaders du classement provisoire, Arnaud Renard et Benjamin Doneux avaient quitt\u00e9 Vaux-sur-S\u00fbre s\u00e9par\u00e9s de 5 points seulement. La premi\u00e8re manche d\u00e9butait de la pire des fa\u00e7ons pour Renard puisque le pilote Husqvarna chutait d\u00e8s le d\u00e9part et s’\u00e9lan\u00e7ait en queue de peloton. Devant, Benjamin Doneux est en bien meilleure posture. Il m\u00e8ne la danse mais doit ontr\u00f4ler le retour de William Devillet qui se bat au finish pour \u00e9chouer dans la roue du vainqueur. R\u00e9mi Fraikin prend la 3\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, Arnaud Renard est revenu en 8\u00e8me position. De quoi lui faire perdre cependant la t\u00eate du classement provisoire MX2. Il y a donc de la revanche dans l’air au moment de prendre le deuxi\u00e8me d\u00e9part de la journ\u00e9e. Cette fois, Renard sort en t\u00eate au bout de la ligne droite de d\u00e9part pour mener de bout en bout et s’imposer devant William Devillet et Benjamin Doneux. Celui-ci remporte le classement g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la journ\u00e9e et quitte W\u00e9ris en t\u00eate du championnat avec 2 petits points d’avance sur Arnaud Renard. La fin de saison s’annonce disput\u00e9e entre les deux hommes !<\/p>\n

Du changement en t\u00eate du classement provisoire, il y en a aussi chez les Espoirs. Luca Rulot toujours convalescent, Math\u00e9o L\u00e9onard signe le doubl\u00e9 \u00e0 W\u00e9ris et se positionne \u00e0 la deuxi\u00e8me place de la Yamaha 125 Youth Cup \u00e0 4 points du nouveau leader Yohann Werry, 4\u00e8me \u00e0 W\u00e9ris.<\/p>\n

Doubl\u00e9 pour Math\u00e9o L\u00e9onard chez les Espoirs !<\/p><\/div>\n

Chez les Inters MX1, Valentin Lacasse remporte sa premi\u00e8re manche de la saison. Quatri\u00e8me de la seconde, il laisse cependant la plus haute marche du podium \u00e0 Tony Bogaert, le pilote Yamaha semblant d\u00e9sormais filer vers le titre. De passage sur le championnat AMPL, l’enduriste Kevin Gauniaux monte sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium devant Steve Piret, lui aussi de retour \u00e0 l’AMPL le temps d’un week-end. Florent Lambillon compl\u00e8te le top-5 devant Sylvain Halleux. Auteur d’une superbe seconde manche qu’il boucle en deuxi\u00e8me position, Halleux aurait sans doute pu pr\u00e9tendre au podium final \u00e0 W\u00e9ris sans une chute en d\u00e9but de premi\u00e8re manche.<\/p>\n

Notons que le samedi, les victoires dans les deux cat\u00e9gories \u00ab\u00a0old timers\u00a0\u00bb se sont partag\u00e9es entre Didier Stommen (2+1), Manu Hubert (1+3) et Laurent Lacasse (1+1).<\/p>\n
