L’orage grondait hier dans la bien nomm\u00e9e Thunder Valley (Colorado), situ\u00e9e \u00e0\u00a0 env. 2 .000 m d’altitude. Cela n’a pas effray\u00e9 outre mesure le pilote local, Andrew Short, qui a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 le holeshot en premi\u00e8re manche pour prendre ensuite un avantage de cinq secondes sur son poursuivant, Ryan Dungey. C’\u00e9tait malheureusement trop beau que pour durer et Short devait bient\u00f4t chuter, laissant ainsi le leadership de la course \u00e0\u00a0 Dungey. C’\u00e9tait alors Josh Grant qui sonnait l’assaut afin de ravir la place de leader \u00e0\u00a0 Dungey. Non seulement Grant arrivait \u00e0\u00a0 ses fins mais il parvenait \u00e0\u00a0 mettre sept secondes dans la vue \u00e0\u00a0 Dungey sur la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e. Ce dernier devait d\u00e8s lors se contenter de conserver sa seconde place tandis que Tommy Hahn \u00e9tait satisfait d’une troisi\u00e8me place sur le podium. Chad Reed avait connu un d\u00e9part d\u00e9sastreux puisqu’il avait occup\u00e9 la vingti\u00e8me place \u00e0\u00a0 un moment donn\u00e9. L’Australien parvenait toutefois \u00e0\u00a0 remonter pour terminer \u00e0\u00a0 la dixi\u00e8me place.<\/p>\n

En seconde manche, c’est \u00e0\u00a0 nouveau Short qui s’offrait le holeshot, suivi par Grant, Townley et Dungey. Grant chutait d\u00e8s le premier virage et se trouvait rel\u00e9gu\u00e9 en vingti\u00e8me position. On pensait un moment que Dungey allait se satisfaire de la seconde place comme en premi\u00e8re manche mais le pilote Suzuki se d\u00e9cidait \u00e0\u00a0 passer Short tandis que Townley prenait \u00e9galement le meilleur sur Short.<\/p>\n

C’est finalement Dungey qui remportait la seconde manche devant Townley, Short, Metcalfe et Alessi. Dungey remportait ainsi sa quatri\u00e8me \u00e9preuve de rang tandis que Townley terminait sur la seconde marche du podium du jour, juste devant Metcalfe. Notons que Reed a \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e0\u00a0 nouveau d\u00e9cevant puisqu’il ne termine que neuvi\u00e8me de l’\u00e9preuve.<\/p>\n

Motocross Lites: Pourcel facile!<\/strong><\/p>\n

En premi\u00e8re manche, c’est Chritophe Pourcel qui r\u00e9alisait le holeshot devant son compagnon d’\u00e9curie, Dean Wilson qui pr\u00e9c\u00e9dait lui-m\u00eame Trey Canard. Ce dernier ne tardait pas \u00e0\u00a0 mettre la pression sur Wilson mais ce dernier, vainqueur le week-end dernier, commence \u00e0\u00a0 prendre de la bouteille, et il ne s’est pas laiss\u00e9 faire. Tandis que Wilson et Canard se disputaient la seconde place, Pourcel creusait l’\u00e9cart pour terminer avec dix secondes d’avance sur Wilson. Rattray, qui avait effectu\u00e9 une remont\u00e9e spectaculaire, \u00e9chouait au pied du podium devant Brok Tickle, Blake Wharton et Tomac.<\/p>\n

C’est cette fois Wilson qui r\u00e9alisait le holeshot en seconde manche mais il \u00e9tait bient\u00f4t remplac\u00e9 par Canard en t\u00eate de la course. Plus tard, on trouvait derri\u00e8re le leader Canard, Wharton, Wilson, Rattray et Pourcel.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

Le trio Pro Circuit Kawasaki compos\u00e9 de Wilson, Rattray et Pourcel r\u00e9alisait une course de toute beaut\u00e9 et Pourcel parvenait \u00e0\u00a0 s’emparer de la t\u00eate de la course au neuvi\u00e8me tour puis \u00e0\u00a0 faire le trou pour remporter la seconde manche, ce qui constitue sa seconde double victoire de cette saison. Canard terminait second au classement du jour apr\u00e8s avoir termin\u00e9 second de la deuxi\u00e8me manche. Wilson passait la ligne d’arriv\u00e9e troisi\u00e8me et c’\u00e9tait \u00e9galement sa place au classement du jour. Les quatri\u00e8me et cinqui\u00e8me de l’\u00e9preuve sont Rattray et Wharton.<\/p>\n
