Ce week-end \u00e0 Oss, le pilote Yamaha a termin\u00e9 le premier round des Dutch Masters of Motocross 2019 sur la deuxi\u00e8me marche du podium. Le double vainqueur du jour n&rsquo;est autre que l&rsquo;Allemand Henry Jacobi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Geerts mettait Jacobi sous pression dans la premi\u00e8re manche jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 ce que deux erreurs et deux chutes cons\u00e9cutives ne le rel\u00e8guent en 6\u00e8me position. Il parviendra \u00e0 revenir n\u00e9anmoins \u00e0 la 4\u00e8me place. Mal parti dans la deuxi\u00e8me manche, il est tr\u00e8s vite revenu sur la t\u00eate de la course pour pointer d\u00e9j\u00e0 en cinqui\u00e8me position apr\u00e8s quelques minutes seulement. Tr\u00e8s rapide dans le sable hollandais, celui qui sort de deux podiums cons\u00e9cutifs sur le mondial MX2, parviendra \u00e0 revenir jusque dans la roue de Jacobi et \u00e0 placer une attaque sur l&rsquo;Allemand dans le dernier tour de course. Sans succ\u00e8s. Mais sa deuxi\u00e8me place lui offre de terminer la journ\u00e9e sur la seconde marche du podium.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u00ab\u00a0Dommage que le temps de course ait \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9court\u00e9. Sans cela, il me restait du temps pour attaquer Jacobi.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00ab\u00a0Une deuxi\u00e8me place, ce n&rsquo;est pas si mal. Mais cela aurait pu \u00eatre mieux\u00a0\u00bb, r\u00e9agit Geerts. \u00ab\u00a0J&rsquo;ai commis une deuxi\u00e8me erreur un peu stupide dans la premi\u00e8re manche. Encore une fois, j&rsquo;ai eu mal aux bras. La deuxi\u00e8me manche s&rsquo;est beaucoup mieux d\u00e9roul\u00e9e. Mon d\u00e9part a \u00e9t\u00e9 moyen mais j\u2019ai r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 trouver mon rythme rapidement. La course \u00e9tait malheureusement plus courte, r\u00e9duite \u00e0 eulement 20 minutes plus un tour \u00e0 cause des probl\u00e8mes rencontr\u00e9s avec la grille de d\u00e9part.
