Dans l’ombre du championnat MXGP et de ses cat\u00e9gories MX1 et MX2, le championnat MX3 vient de vivre le week-end pass\u00e9 sa 7\u00e8me manche de la saison. En marge d’une cat\u00e9gorie MX3 o\u00f9 l’on retrouve davantage de pilotes sur le retour que de futurs tops mondiaux, le championnat accueille \u00e9galement le tr\u00e8s relev\u00e9 championnat d’Europe MX2, celui-là m\u00eame o\u00f9 des gar\u00e7ons comme J\u00e9r\u00e9my Van Horebeek et Jo\u00ebl Roelants ont fait leurs premi\u00e8res armes internationales.
\nSi notre compatriote Sven Breugelmans est une fois de plus dans la course au titre en MX3, c’est son jeune co\u00e9quipier fran\u00e7ais Valentin Teillet qui m\u00e8ne la danse au provisoire du championnat europ\u00e9en.<\/p>\n

Vers un duel Beggi-Breugelmans?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Vainqueur des Grands-Prix de France et du Portugal, Sven Breugelmans pourrait \u00eatre en t\u00eate du classement provisoire MX3 si le pilote KTM n’avait pas \u00e9t\u00e9 contraint à l’abandon en seconde manche en Espagne ou n’avait pas marqu\u00e9 5 petits points seulement au terme d’une mauvaise manche italienne… Second le week-end pass\u00e9 d’un GP de Croatie marqu\u00e9 par des conditions apocalyptiques qui ont contraint les organisateurs à mettre un terme à la journ\u00e9e apr\u00e8s les premi\u00e8res manches EMX2 et MX3, le prot\u00e9g\u00e9 de Jacky Martens reste au contact de l’Italien Christian Beggi, le pilote Honda menant d\u00e9sormais les d\u00e9bats avec 19 points d’avance. R\u00e9gulier, Beggi avait d\u00e9jà prouv\u00e9 la saison derni\u00e8re qu’il pouvait gagner des GP et confirme cette saison qu’il est bien un s\u00e9rieux candidat pour le titre MX3.<\/p>\n

Derri\u00e8re les 2 hommes, le 3\u00e8me pilote class\u00e9 est le Fran\u00e7ais Christophe Martin, d\u00e9jà rel\u00e9gue à pr\u00e8s de 90 points, notamment en raison d’un double adandon sur ennuis m\u00e9caniques à Castelnau de L\u00e9vis.
\nM\u00eame constat pour son compatriote Thomas Allier, superbe vainqueur de l’\u00e9preuve d’ouverture en Espagne mais lui aussi incapable de prendre le moindre point dans le GP de France à Castelnau.<\/p>\n

Notons enfin que les stars du mondial MX1 n’h\u00e9sitent pas à s’inviter en MX3 lorsque le championnat est de passage sur leurs terres, comme ce fut le cas de S\u00e9bastien Pourcel en France ou, plus r\u00e9cemment, de Jonathan Barragan en Espagne.<\/p>\n

Valentin Teillet leader en EMX2<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dans le championnat d’Europe MX2, les Fran\u00e7ais ont les dents longues et dominent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement leurs adversaires. En t\u00eate du classement provisoire malgr\u00e9 un score nul dans les conditions tr\u00e8s particuli\u00e8res de ce week-end en Croatie, Valentin Teillet, int\u00e9gr\u00e9 au team de notre compatriote et ancien champion du monde 500cc Jacky Martens, est rapide dans toutes les conditions et semble bien parti pour jouer le titre au finish avec son compatriote Lo\u00efc Larrieu, double vainqueur chez lui à Castelnau.<\/p>\n

Une cat\u00e9gorie qui se veut l’anti-chambre du mondial MX2, dont les chronos impressionnent et o\u00f9 l’on ne fait pas de cadeau.
\nUn Belge est pourtant parvenu à accrocher un podium ce week-end dans l’unique manche croate. Kenny Van Dueren, puisque c’est de lui qu’il s’agit, monte en puissance au fil des GP et semble d\u00e9sormais capable de jouer r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement dans le top-10. La preuve: il occupe actuellement le 9\u00e8me rang au classement provisoire.<\/p>\n
