C’est l’un des rendez-vous du d\u00e9but des vacances d’\u00e9t\u00e9 pour les pilotes AMPL comme pour de nombreux autres crossmen wallons. Le motocross de Gesves fait toujours recette et cette \u00e9dition 2019 n’a pas fait mentir la r\u00e8gle. Ce sont en effet pas moins de 200 pilotes licenci\u00e9s \u00e0 la journ\u00e9e qui se sont align\u00e9s ces samedi et dimanche sur le circuit namurois. Inutile de pr\u00e9ciser que cette 12\u00e8me \u00e9preuve du championnat AMPL s’est disput\u00e9e sous un soleil de plomb et que les organisateurs ont d\u00fb d\u00e9ployer les grands moyens pour ma\u00eetriser la poussi\u00e8re en pr\u00e9parant leur trac\u00e9 naturel en prairie avec le soin que l’on conna\u00eet au MC Gesves.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Retour remarqu\u00e9 chez les Inters MX2 de Jonathan Leclercq, bless\u00e9 lors du motocross de Bertrix, puisqu’il prenait la t\u00eate de la premi\u00e8re manche devant Pako Destercq dans le premier tour avant de lui laisser le leadership. Destercq chutera un peu plus tard et terminera \u00e0 la 8\u00e8me place. Le leader entra\u00eene dans sa chute Vincent Grandjean, alors second, qui sera contraint \u00e0 l’abandon, machine trop endommag\u00e9e. C’est alors Jordan Hebette qui s’installe aux commandes. Le pilote d’Havelange ne quittera plus le premier fauteuil pour s’imposer devant J\u00e9rome Martiny et le licenci\u00e9 \u00e0 la journ\u00e9e J\u00e9r\u00f4me Biets.<\/p>\n

Alors que Hebette m\u00e8ne la deuxi\u00e8me manche pratiquement de bout en bout, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Martiny manque son d\u00e9part et sera contraint de se lancer dans une course-poursuite qui m\u00e8nera le pilote Husqvarna jusqu’en 3\u00e8me place, derri\u00e8re Biets. Tom Trembloy \u00e9tait deuxi\u00e8me dans le 9\u00e8me tour lorsqu’il chute, repart 3\u00e8me avant de devoir encore s’incliner face au retour de Martiny dans les derniers instants de course.<\/p>\n

Trembloy \u00e9choue au pied d’un podium MX2 occup\u00e9 par Hebette devant Biets et Martiny tandis que Benjamin Doneux (4+5) cl\u00f4ture le top-5. Au championnat, Martiny conserve 11 points d’avance sur Hebette.<\/p>\n

Hebette, qui avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 remport\u00e9 la classe Open 125cc la veille, ne s’aligne pas en MX1 \u00e0 Gesves. Il laisse J\u00e9r\u00f4me Martiny, David Foguenne et Ludovic Brevers se battre sans lui pour la victoire. Martiny (1+2) et Foguenne (3+1) se partagent les victoires de manche tandis que Ludovic Brevers (2+3), lui aussi tr\u00e8s rapide sur le trac\u00e9 gesvois, aura donn\u00e9 pas mal de fil \u00e0 retordre \u00e0 Martiny en premi\u00e8re manche. Alors qu’Hebette a forc\u00e9ment perdu encore un peu plus le contact avec les deux hommes de t\u00eate, l’\u00e9cart au championnat reste stable entre Foguenne, toujours en t\u00eate, et Martiny : 16 points.<\/p>\n

On notera la victoire de Julien Halleux, parti par deux fois en t\u00eate, chez les non-licenci\u00e9s et la troisi\u00e8me place d’un pilote local chez les Juniors impairs puisque c’est Adrien Corneli (2+5) qui monte sur la derni\u00e8re marche du podium de la cat\u00e9gorie aux c\u00f4t\u00e9s de Gilles Husquet et Julien Hallaert.<\/p>\n

Sam Jordant chez les Espoirs et Laurent Brevers chez les Experts signent tous les deux de nouveaux doubl\u00e9s \u00e0 Gesves et confortent ainsi leur premi\u00e8re place dans leur cat\u00e9gorie respective.<\/p>\n

Harzy, pr\u00e8s de Bastogne, accueillera le week-end prochain la 13\u00e8me \u00e9preuve de la saison AMPL.<\/p>\n
