Mathias Van Hoof a termin\u00e9 la saison en beaut\u00e9 le week-end dernier \u00e0 Ambert. Sur la finale du championnat du monde d’enduro, le Belge s’est impos\u00e9 les deux jours dans la cat\u00e9gorie Open 4S de la Coupe du Monde d’enduro. Un double succ\u00e8s qui \u00e9tait indispensable pour lui permettre de hisser in extremis sa Beta sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium final du championnat.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Comme souvent en France, l’organisation d’Ambert proposait un trac\u00e9 tr\u00e8s s\u00e9lectif, avec des sp\u00e9ciales particuli\u00e8rement techniques et des liaisons exigeantes qui ont donn\u00e9 du fil \u00e0 retordre \u00e0 plus d’un concurrent. Une v\u00e9ritable \u00e9preuve mondiale donc, dont Mathias Van Hoof s’est sorti avec brio. \u00ab\u00a0J’ai d\u00e9but\u00e9 la journ\u00e9e prudemment samedi. L’extr\u00eame test \u00e9tait tr\u00e8s glissante et je n’ai pas voulu prendre de risques inutiles\u00a0\u00bb explique celui qui a ensuite rapidement pris la t\u00eate du classement interm\u00e9diaire. Au 2\u00e8me tour, le pilote a poursuivi son effort pour marquer les 20 points de la victoire samedi soir.<\/p>\n

Dimanche, le pilote de Herentals devait gagner pour monter sur le podium final de la saison. \u00abNous avions lou\u00e9 une 350 chez Boana et elle \u00e9tait parfaitement adapt\u00e9e pour moi. Les suspensions, la puissance du moteur, tout \u00e9tait parfait et cela m’a permis de me concentrer \u00e0 100% sur mon pilotage. R\u00e9sultat, je termine la journ\u00e9e en t\u00eate avec une avance de pr\u00e8s de 15 secondes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Cela signifiait encore 20 points de plus au compteur et, apr\u00e8s d\u00e9duction du pire r\u00e9sultat de la saison, le Belge montait sur la 3\u00e8me marche du podium Open 4 Stroke de la Coupe du Monde d’enduro. \u00abJ’ai tellement travaill\u00e9 pour \u00e7a !\u00a0\u00bb, exhulte le pilote Beta dimanche soir. \u00ab\u00a0Cette m\u00e9daille de bronze sur la Coupe du monde est la cerise sur le g\u00e2teau. Ce fut une saison tr\u00e8s difficile avec beaucoup de hauts et quelques bas, mais cette m\u00e9daille fait oublier tous les moments difficiles, c’est du pur bonheur ! Maintenant, place aux Six Days au Portugal o\u00f9 je tenterai de gagner l\u2019or avec, encore une fois, une BETA 350 de chez Boano. Ils savent clairement comment pr\u00e9parer une moto et j’ai pleinement confiance en eux. Ils ont prouv\u00e9 leur savoir-faire avec Brad Freeman !\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n
