Klutzy avait en effet entra\u00een\u00e9 le d\u00e9cuple champion du monde dans une aventure sportive mais surtout humaine extraordinaire en l’emmenant \u00e0 la rencontre des populations de la R\u00e9publique D\u00e9mocratique du Congo et d’un groupe de passionn\u00e9s de tout-terrain qui organisent l’\u00e9preuve d’endurance au profit de l’asbl Mikembo-Mukini. Une association qui a par ailleurs \u00e9t\u00e9 mise en avant sur les Yamaha du team Zone Rouge lors des 12 Heures de la Chinelle cet \u00e9t\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Je ne peux \u00e9videmment pas parler de cette \u00e9preuve sans avoir une pens\u00e9e particuli\u00e8re pour mon ami Stefan Everts qui nous avait fait l’honneur d’\u00eatre \u00e0 la course l’ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e et qui se bat encore et toujours pour se sortir de la malaria contract\u00e9e sur place\u00a0\u00bb, regrette Klutz au moment d’embarquer dans l’avion qui le conduit pour la 3\u00e8me fois en RDC.<\/p>\n

\u00ab\u00a0Nous avions pass\u00e9 un formidable s\u00e9jour et Stefan nous avait encore \u00e0 tous d\u00e9montr\u00e9 \u00e0 quel point il \u00e9tait un pilote unique, d’une classe incroyable. Mais bien plus que ses qualit\u00e9s sportives, ce sont ses qualit\u00e9s humaines qui nous avaient d\u00e9finitivement convaincus qu’il est bien plus qu’un grand champion. J’aurai tant souhait\u00e9 qu’il soit encore de la partie cette ann\u00e9e… J’ose esp\u00e9rer que ce n’est que partie remise !\u00a0\u00bb, poursuit-il.<\/p>\n

Cette ann\u00e9e, c’est J\u00e9r\u00e9my Coen qui accompagnera Klutz en RDC. \u00ab\u00a0Je le connais bien en tant que pilote \u00e9videmment mais aussi car nous travaillons ensemble pendant les vacances d’\u00e9t\u00e9 lors des stages adeps. C’est un super chouette pilote et je suis tr\u00e8s heureux qu’il ait montr\u00e9 son int\u00e9r\u00eat pour cette course. Ca sera en n’en pas douter un adversaire de qualit\u00e9 de plus\u00a0\u00bb, se r\u00e9jouis Klutz.<\/p>\n

Thierry Klutz s’est envol\u00e9 ce vendredi soir pour la RDC tandis que J\u00e9r\u00e9my Coen le rejoindra mardi.<\/p>\n
